I'm glad everyone likes them.

Abshire, I'm not sure I know what you mean. I was able to put ACE medical supplies in the M5 medic bag, atleast with my version of ACE. I don't know much about ACRE. I would need help from someone who knows the system to make it work.

Laqueesha, I found the problem. It's fixed. I'll do a re-release sometime soon that will fix that and other small problems.

Well the problem is, I cannot add any of the rucks to a box, or to a player...lol It says I am missing the config.

Hi, I am loving the mod so far. I have always wanted the 80's to 90's units in the ARMAverse and when I heard about this add-on I was filled with happiness! My only question is that the radio's are supposedly ACRE compatible yet I do not get the option to use them? Is that a bug or will ACRE support/ACE backpack support be in a later release?

Thanks for all your hard work it is spectacular!

Words cannot express how awesome this is.

Thanks so much for all your work on these 'old school' units.

I've found another glitch. It's with the 1990s Woodland Navy Corpsman (light variant). On his arms, there appears to be some weird textures popping up. I can't really describe it well, but it's two footprint silhouettes and a really small-sized M81 swatch.

Delta, I'm not sure but didn't you say we would be able to choose unit patches (be able to change 101st to 82nd 1st IDV ect.?) Or do I have to import my own patches and do it that way. I was under the impression you already had the patches in your add-on to be changed via init command

Originally I was going to include different unit patches, but I didn't have the time to make them yesterday. Ill have some with the next release.

Some questions, I've noticed that you have the 1980s guys with M9 Berettas, but wasn't the 1911 the primary sidearm back in the 1980s? Also, do you have a blank nametape template we can use to make our own nametapes? Lastly, will there be any DCU-patterned PASGT vests? Like this:

That sounds good, thanks! :)

Another glitch found, the nametapes and flags patches tend to glow brightly, even when under a shadow. Cheers!

For the nametape, download the allstar font and editing the "Name" text layer to what ever name you like. The M9 was phased in mid 80s though a lot of units continued to carry M1911s well into the mid 90s. I guess it just really depends on the unit. Both would be accurate for the 80s. The only units I've seen wear the DCU flak cover were Marine units. I might implement that later.

I don't know how to fix the patches. It's just a diffuse texture but I can't find a rvmat for it. With or without a .rvmat it still glows.

Thanks for the response. I found a little glitch, probably nothing, but your classnames are backwards for the Navy corpsmen rate insignia. HM3/PO3 is one chevron, and HM1/PO1 is three chevrons. I'm having an absolute blast looking through all your high-quality unit patches contained in the PSD. The fabric details on the textures are simply amazing.

@Delta Hawk, mate your signature also says something about US Air force - any pilot models from that era. Like USAF fighter pilot? I saw USMC and US ARMY troops in editor but could no find pilots?

Laqueesha, thanks. I'll fix it asap.

There's no air force yet.

Laqueesha, thanks. I'll fix it asap.

You're welcome, no worries! :)

A suggestion for weaponry, though. I noticed that both your 90s and 80s units use the FGM Javelin as their primary anti-tank weapon. (Speaking of which, the FGM Javelin units are missing ammo rockets). However, an

would be more fitting, as the FGM Javelin is anachronistic, since it wasn't introduced until 1996, and the Dragon remained in service until 2001. Luckily, Operation Arrowhead already comes with a decent M47 Dragon model, ready for use! ;)

Another feedback report:

1.) Some of the unarmed USMC units are listed as "Soldier", when some of them are listed as "Marine".

2.) The 1980s U.S. Marines have nametapes, but most photographs show 1980s Marines without nametapes (just a simple stenciled-on EGA).

3.) The 1990s U.S. Marines have stenciled-on EGAs, but if my memory serves me correct, the USMC switched to embroidered EGAs during the 1990s.

4.) FGM Javelin units have no ammunition for the launchers (mentioned above). But, they'd be better off with M47 Dragons anyway. :)

5.) Nametapes overlap bloody wound textures. For example, when wounded, the chest would be bloody, but the nametapes would be squeaky-clean.

6.) Shouldn't the USMC boonies have an EGA on them?

7.) I noticed that you mentioned that there would be new gameplay features coming up later. Would rolling sleeves up and down via the action menu be a part of this?

8.) Will there be any M1 helmets and/or OD green units? Like this? (picture from late 1986)

Anyway, that's all I have for now. I like how the PASGT vests have oil stains on them, little details like that make all the difference. :D

@Delat Hawk

Ok, thanks for replay man, just thought I have missed something. Great quality, and like that you utilized hidden selections [i guess] to have a reasonable add-on size.

@Delta Hawk, great units - have been waiting to try them since I saw the WIP. My group and I would be happy to test the units and provide feedback if needed, also any chance of a possible Ranger variant with DBDU of the 80's for the helmet and DCU for the uniform. Once again thank you for the hidden selection options provides a lot of functionality for mission makers.

Possible Bug: 90's and 80's chests appear to have no wound texture only on light versions are wounds present

I would actually argue that the 1911 was still widely used in the army and Marine corps up to the early 90s and into Desert Storm, (Except for the Marine corps who still preferred the 1911). The AT4 was still in testing during the early 80's and didn't see real combat until 1987 in Panama. M60E4 definitely did not see combat for a long time after the 80's and probably 90's Except for the E3 version. Are you going to introduce LAW launchers and early M60 versions in later updates? Maybe not the M60 because the M60E3 looks a lot like the E4 and that was used in the late 80's You could probably ask for permission to use these weapons from CWR2 mod.

I'm not saying you HAVE to, just making a suggestion i could be happy either way.
