Awesome update. Gear and uniform colors look great ingame, that snakeskin is something else, should definitely look into expanding your colors, OD, Tan, Grey. Also enjoyed the added beard and I have to ask, might we ever see your DEVGRU beard???

Naw. I mean, I've got bearded faces in-game, but it's really just BIS's texture method. There are no modeled-on beards.

Don't plan on doing 1ID or any other US infantry units at the moment.

I've redone the snakeskin camo by the way. Will be putting up some screens this weekend. Thinking about changing the OD green uniform to snakeskin.

I've gotten the 7th ID Kerry and SBS/CTRG Miller's voices working also, so when you play as those units in the editor, you'll hear their voices and not Marc's. I'll probably hotfix the addon this weekend also.

I believe the AMP is about the same as standard Multicam, just that its produced locally under license.

There's also this interactive 3D Soldier on the Army's website to give you an idea of what standard infantries are wearing - our SF's would be wearing lighter gear and use M4's as standard rifles.

If you're also thinking of adding Kiwi's in, they are currently being issued a new indigenous camouflage pattern the Multi-terrain Camouflage Uniform (MCU). Atleast thats with infantry units, not sure about SF. I believe they would continue using standard Multicam.

Hey Antoine Flemming. Quick question about your camo, did you make the camo textures yourself? And if so, could I get my hands on them? Thanks!

Well what do you want to do with the camo textures?

I'll release the LAF Temperate and Russian patterns, since those are essentially remakes of the vanilla BIS ones. And I'll release them as PSDs (Photoshop) and PDNs (Paint.Net) so that you can modify those. I'll also release the Iranian pattern in the CSAT colors. I'll release a basic snake skin camo (it'll be a full page of dots essentially, as that's all my camo is except broken up by dark and light lines going through it - based on COD Ghosts camo). Won't release any of the multicam patterns, or the CTRG camo (as it's not the same camo as the vanilla one, and I really would like the vanilla one). I might try to make the vanilla CTRG one when I've got the time. Then I'll release it.

Hotfix will come tomorrow. Here is the templates pack (also includes uniform, vest, helmet, and boonie hat templates):

The textures are also named using my personal naming convention: itemtype_camouflage_manufacturer_co.*

Thanks. Sorry I didn't put up screens of the actual camo patterns this time. Been kinda busy with real life, so just squeezed in time for this update without putting up some pics. I'll put some up later, but feel free to take some yourselves.

Love the mod; Though I must admit I only use the units with the Czech Camo, is there any possibility of getting a addon for a Czech Military alone from you?

Nope. And the Czech camo was a last minute addition, from the template I released. I pretty much tried to replicate the BIS Multicam camo. Don't think I did a good job of doing that but oh well.

And the only reason I made them Czech is because BI is in the Czech Republic. I don't even plan to do make a faction out of them. Just the camo, and it's just meant to be a visual representation of the template textures in-game. But certainly feel free to use the template if you'd like to make your own Czech addon, just credit me.

As soon as I can I'll get right on making a solid Czech unit then! I have no idea why but after ACR released for ArmA 2 I've loved the units and their camo.

You should start a WIP thread. :)

I've been thinking about trying to make a recon scout/rescue dog that you could order around. Think it'd be a cool little feature to have. But I can't get the dog to be groupable with soldier units. Anyone know if that's possible to do, and if so, how? I made a new thread about it but it got closed, and I'm not sure if I wasn't allowed to ask that or not, so I'm just asking here since it'll be part of this addon if it's possible.

Thats an amazing idea, You could look back at ArmA 2 mods that did that like EOD My dog and see how they did it; and I plan on starting a WIP Thread once I get the stupid rucksack to work right D: I can't get it to load the ammo for my updated VZ-58 through the configs.

Hell yes, but only for the US Army 7th ID, CTRG, and 10th SFG. The special forces guys will still use the tan ones.

Still haven't been able to get the dogs to work. Can change their side but not their behavior or make them groupable, which is the important thing. Not sure what about their code makes them not groupable or what makes the man characters groupable. Will have to do some more digging.

That'd be very nice. There's some 'dog' mods for arma 2, maybe digging trough those can help you out.
