Hey guys, after some digging i've found a couple more classnames...

uns_anpvs2 - AN/PVS-2 Night Sight

UNS_ItemRadio - Required for support calls, if you edit the loadout of the RTO. Can also be added to other units if you really want.

It was a great MP session today! Great atmosphere, tense and scary. Unsung needs more SP and MP mission makers! I'll try to make some SP ones. I never really delved into MP mission making.

Did the Marine Force Recon units get removed from this version, I seem to remember them being in 2.0?

Hey desmondb,

They seemed to have been given their own class and are called Mike Force Recon under blufor. It's a wrong name, but they're still Force Recon Marines.

Hope it helps.

in order to get backpacks to work you need to run a little clientside mod we use which fixes all thearma2 base classes with backpack functionality:

we borrowed the idea off HCPOOKIE originally and expanded and tweaked it, to include engineer fix functions for A2 engineers, new stock factions, etc.

we also edited the backpacks so you have a continuous grade of pack from small to very large - which we award based on rank in the mission.

I'm pretty sue it also empties out the (modern) contents so you wouldn't want it in a mission that required the FAC backpack to work e.g. in a modern takistan US mission. Although we use our own filling system for packs in those so not a problem for our missions. this is a benefit to unsung. All you need is a nice model to replace them - your pack models would be great if you could find a modeler to separate them. PRACS eddie would be the guy to ask, as his PRACS packs are not far off yours already.

Sav if you want to, you could add this to your next update? maybe give it a road test? works fine for us and enables manual pack selection by all your units (except medics, deliberately, otherwise everyone would be a medic).

Well yes but it would require you to depbo all 80 sound files , edit them / upmix with a sound program , and repbo them or go through the lines of config and adjust the volume there... so there are ways but not an easy one.

Besides they were mixed to simulate a small am transistor not like today's big bassed boom boxes

Couple of pages back, i was looking at the same thing.

great mod guys its just beautiful

but so far i havent been able to find the skyrader anywhere the same as with the earlier release despite of downloading the unsung ace compatible bit from six updater.

also who was making an mso again for this and wen will it be released ?

And for the record NO content has been removed since 2.0 except our place holder M60 tank which never served in Nam. All other equipment is still in there just reorganised to the correct designation.

The only M60 Pattons that served were the M60 AVLB and M728 Combat Engineer Vehicle.

Hi Guys ,i have a little bit trouble with the Installer ,when it install then comes a CRC failure message...ok i think my Pc have a Problem ,then when it install on my Laptop it goes.

I take the installed @UNS folder copie that in my arma2 folder (on my bad Pc) ,make a shortcut with my OA.exe ("D:\Bohemia interaktive\ArmA 2\ArmA2OA.exe" -mod=@CBA;@CBA_A2;@CBA_OA;@UNS ...after the intro comes CTD ,whats the Problem ?

lol yeah - he's our new bloodhound. good at finding charlie and his many nefarious devices

was awesome today on cao bang. we've made the mobile hq a PBR boat.

there's more than 600 traps on the map, it takes 30 minutes for the spawn script to complete...

some of the villages on there are truly amazing... awesome terrain, best river system since lingor...

Just need to be able to use the 60 on the PBR as well (ask hcpookie his version of the pbr works - front, back and deck M60)

really really lovin it. developing ideas for evolution.

It means that the cyclic redundancy check of the file has failed. Are you running the same version of windows on both machines?

If that helps:

I downloaded UNS thrice from Armaholic (always the 'fixed' version) and twice from torrent and it always failed at the CRC check.

After a 4th try on Armaholic it suddenly worked.

OS: Win 7 64

Looks like you just need to keep trying ;)

Maybe also upload a pure archive (i.e. none-installer) version?
