Wiki 1558 Posted December 5, 2012 nice! BTW, have you fixed the fastrope problem in v1.1? and when can we expect it?
konyo 14 Posted December 5, 2012 nice!BTW, have you fixed the fastrope problem in v1.1? and when can we expect it? Yes, myself and norrin havn't been able to re-create the fast rope problem. I've moved the ramp's Geo LOD section back abit as i think they were catching it and getting stuck, as it was only on the Fixed Ramp version. I'm positive thats why.. I was going to release it today, but I've got this problem now :( http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?143299-Binpbo-isan-t-including-binarized-p3d-files So hopefully by end of this week.. _William 0 Posted December 6, 2012 For those who lack the time / know-how to craft single-player missions with these beautiful MH-47E's inserting infantry (landing or fast-roping), my PlannedAssault mission generator may come in handy. I've just added these MH-47E's. In your browser, you can select a single or twin MH-47Es flight (either a normal landing or a fast-rope variant), put squads in their cargo positions and have them insert troops. Then press a button to generate the mission, download and play it. These screen shots are from a insertions into Zargabad: @Konyo: great work on the helicopters. They look terrific at night. nodunit 397 Posted December 7, 2012 Looking good though they seem to be a tad short http://www.specialoperations.com/Images_Folder/library11/mh-47eda.jpg the mpd's top should come up to the top of the standby horizon's gauge, otherwise it winds up looking a bit rectangular than square. konyo 14 Posted December 7, 2012 A slight improvment to the last picture i published of the Digital Screens, apart from this new picture is completed.. for now :o As you can see, the displays have been textured & a few other details above the screens... konyo 14 Posted December 10, 2012 (edited) I apologize, I said today that I would release update v1.1. That will now not happen. Sorry! It will be sometime this week.. (I Hope). I had only 1 thing to do this morning, which was to add the Digital Screens to the correct Co-Pilots LOD. Anyway i done it but due to me editing the correct LOD to add the Screens, the blades are now sinking under the model... No idea why. As i havn't moved any of the blades points and have re-started O2 countless of times and re-done it from scratch, but it's still continued.. So what i thought would be a 1 hour job max, turned out to be a whole day of thinking why. So, again I'm sorry. It will be with you sometime this week.. :o Edited December 11, 2012 by konyo

nouty 10 Posted December 12, 2012 I just had a quick test and I'm loving it! Great job konyo! Couple of issues I had: After being at the right minigun on the regular model, when pressing eject I actually ejected like from an ejection seat, as in flew up about 50m and deployed parachute. I was using ACE but this didn't happen in the other gun positions on either craft for what I tested. Second issue was when playing around with some AI. I first entered the chopper with the pilot and then switched to another AI who I seated at the back. After switching back to the pilot I couldn't use the sling rope anymore. The option just didn't show up in the action menu no matter what. Worked fine when entering the chopper with the pilot last.

Regarding the Slingropes, that too has been fixed in the latest version. Aiming to have it out by end of this week :D
nouty 10 Posted December 12, 2012 Very cool. :) Any way to make the two seats at the end of the ramp on the fixed ramp version exit the chopper outside and not back inside the helicopter?
spectrersg 9 Posted December 12, 2012 Very cool. :) Any way to make the two seats at the end of the ramp on the fixed ramp version exit the chopper outside and not back inside the helicopter? This. And getting in touch with the shacktack guys to see if you can implement their little bird enhancement to be used on the two guys sitting on the fixed ramp (or them adding support for your 47). soldier2390 0 Posted December 12, 2012 ^^ I second that!
Wiki 1558 Posted December 12, 2012 I think, ATM, the shacktack little bird enhancement is ACE dependant...which is a pity for those who don't use it. it seems that there is a way to get rid of ACE, but for the moment, it's not released yet - and I dunno if shacktack guys are working on it. so, apart from the ACE version of this chopper, it won't be possible - if konyo wishes to integrate it to his chopper... I'll see what i can do, It should be a matter of moving 2 memory points but it means all cargo riding in back will get out at the same point.. But then again I'm not sure if that effects the fast roping.. I'll have a test and see how it looks. This. Thats the Addon where you can shoot from the Littlebird right? Would be good on the ramp indeed, but then again you dont really fly low in the MH47E's like you do with Littlebirds? So wouldnt be much to shoot at up high in the clouds? Thats my only though against it though? :o Edited December 13, 2012 by konyo
spectrersg 9 Posted December 13, 2012 (edited) No it's more of the first guys loading into the chopper can provide some sort of rear door security since the m134's can't shoot back there. And they don't go that high if I'm correct; they stay low to avoid radar detection and nap of the earth flying to surprise their targets (less noise and visibility). Edit: Please focus on this for a future update, let's get the current 1.1 out there; it's been rough waiting... :P Edited December 13, 2012 by SpectreRSG
