Yes will make the nose a bit shorter. Needs texturing properly anyway so will get it sorted :)

Very nice! liking the duller texture too rather than the black mirror you had before :D and the model is progressing nicely

But looking at the sky background (which i realise is more of a dusk) is it almost too black? should it be more of a dark grey? i know for a fact my monitor colours are someone screwed, opintions from anyone else?

Agreed ^ The Matte black resembles the RL MH-47e more than the glossy version you had before. Also as Scarecrow said, The texture may be a tad dark, the MH-47e looks more medium grey in daytime (picture 3) and in (Picture 1), I could barely make out the outline at my screen's full brightness. Anyway, this looks real promising, I'm looking forward to more WIP shots! :)

It's getting there but I agree with it being a bit too dark, as posted from your night example, they say there is such a thing as being so dark that it shows up at even night.

To help here are some reference photo's from variou

This one looks fairly fresh http://forums.radioreference.com/tavern-archives/31012-pics-mh-47e-soa-special-operations-aircraft.html

Hope these help, but also remember that your specular and reflection maps, as well as specular power can effect the way the color looks as well.

Thanks all, yeah I think it's the rvmats that dose it, if I was to take the rvmat off it looks sort of better, will post up a picture of it without rvmats to show you what I mean

Hmm, i remember ADuke saying he was doing one before he disapeared, i think all of his were based off the Arma Sample models though so adding sensors and such to the existing one wouldn't be too hard.

Playing around with it this morning, built a quick CRRC Insertion Sling, dont get your hopes up though. I most likely wont be script it in game to swing around or release into the water without any scripting help because i cant script :( So dont get your hopes up, but heres some pictures :p

(Click for Larger Picture, Sorry for quality of it for some reason its not clearing up the way i normally do it?)

I don't think anyone would expect swinging things without proper physics support so no worries :P

I like this idea, would it be possible to somehow extract the boat later? Also the bird is looking much better with the adjusted paint.

It would be more likley to see a RHIB slung under, normaly CRCC's can be put into the back (Or driven in which is known as the "King Fish") Also, I just had to put this out there because of act of valor and the SOC-R boats they use in that Hcpookie's SOC-R Boat

Keep up the awsome work Konyo, make sure its near perfect before release because so many people are going to use it. If A-duke were still around you could talk to him about inserting a fastrope script with the helo.

Haha! Funnily enough that film gave me the idea/inspiration to try it ;)

If A-duke were still around you could talk to him about inserting a fastrope script with the helo.

... Don't worry about that ;) all ready sorted :P

Ok man, all I can say is just make sure its perfect, With a perfect MH47, we have a full assortment of SOAR Birds. (The Little Birds from OA are near perfect, and Adukes helo's are near perfect also.)
