Note that it won't be used in an artillery role, its gun has been refitted for an anti-vehicle/anti-infantry role. Before anybody says it, yes it's not realistic, but do I care? Nope. You could make this unit in real life anyway :) I think it is creative to make this stuff and besides the D 30 is a capable anti tank gun anyway with the right munition... The egyptians converted T 34 with D 30s though i belive they were for artillery use... Any thoughts to slap a ZU-23 on the BMP for firesupport ? Rovka 14 Posted May 7, 2012 Dear GossammerSolid, Your own reworked BMP into a BMP with D-30 is a thing which fills a niche, otherwise not often seen, or that much acknowledged. But no doubt many countries around the world, do have likewise configurations for their hardware, regardless of type of vehicle upon which such are related to for chassis, or cupola, etc. As with that AA-gun on BMP-1, well one can make endless types of variants with all sorts of weaponry as is available per default BIS' Arma-2. Ofcourse if, and what is up to you. But I too do welcome it. On a sidenote, such addons make it feel more realistic, instantly adding the feeling of quick-paced war criss-crossing about the landscape, and ample time to produce results to combat an enemy that is all around. I for one, -- albeit up to you, ofcourse. -- would like to strongly suggest such addon-rebuilds being made somewhere in the future, or whenever you have the wish to do so. Gives the whole project already so much more feel to go along with it. Thanks for whatever we already are going to get in the future, and ofcourse all that has been released so far. maddii 10 Posted May 8, 2012 i had dreams of a better CDF and this mod has all what i had in mind but this mod is still missing a navy, maybe few old (osa1 and/or osa2) instead of frigates/cruisers/etc.... and few american made RHIBS or PBR gunboat and CRRCs will fill the gap nothing more ( well maybe just Ka-27) but nothing more :rolleyes: The sad thing is seeing all these mods that i realy love, but cant use them cuz i dont have arma 2 series anymore :( still i say GREAT JOB MAN!!!! :bounce3: Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
