Project CDF

Recommended Posts

Instead of M60, then Leopard1.

Maybe all so a jaguar, M113 and the like.

Or old French stuff :)

Any way, looks good with ekstra CDF gear :)

I'm unable to build new models myself (just not my thing), but if I can get my hands on some arma 2 quality models, I can definetly try to add those.

WLD427 has a ton of plane models from project racs and his takistani extension including a MIG21 and SU24 which might fit better then the 34. tons of old western aircraft like A-4's, super etendards and F-4's. you might try with him.

how about a few western helicopters like huey's?

Wld427 has already generously provided me the Su-24. I'm in contact with him so he might provide more great stuff in the future.

I like a mix of older US Equipment, but with a main emphasis on eastern bloc stuff (I really like eastern bloc planes especially).

Thanks GossamerSolid :smile_o:

Does the "new" infantry have M4/16 or ? :)

Yep they have M16A2s and an odd M4A1 thrown in there.

Remember though, these do not overwrite the standard BIS troops, they are still there.

Can you make F-35, MH-60, UH-60, UH-1Y and H, AV-8, AH-6J, MH-6J and any vehicle with CDF?

I haven't planned those vehicles, so for now, the answer would be no.

Your question to more western equipment... sure. Id like to see a mixture of maybe both. Old soviet models, and old west modal. Like the M60 Patton and maybe the T80 too. Maybe research countries like Georgia, and/or others that border former Soviet Union and western countries. Just a thought. :)

You can look at countrys like croatia after the war. They had mainly east block equipment but also a few small arms from the west

The BAF Landrovers may be suitable for the CDF.

Just wondering, could you use the UNO infantry and retex their helmet with CDF camo? since the model can use backpack, so why not update them?

They lack wound textures don't they? I thought last time I tried using them they did anyway. Maybe those can be added though too. I'm not sure if that is possible or if they have to be mapped into the model. I don't know but it seems that if they don't have them and you can't add them you're adding one aspect and removing another. If they can be though then that would be a huge plus.

Those are very nice. The T34 and M113 in particular are very good.

Would it be possible for you to reskin the USMC Cobra or Huey? I think both would look very nice in CDF camo.

I don't think that the cobra would fit to the CDF its too modern
