ARMA 2: OA beta build 86578 (1.60 MP build)

Just curious if the issue "AI infantry attacking enemy AI helicopters regardless if enemy ground units are in range or if helicopters are just flying around (not attacking)" has been fully fixed?

observed: AI is distracted by helicopters and even tries to get more attention from AI helicopter pilots/gunners (= very bad for infantry because they don't have a chance)

expected: AI infantry should only fire at helicopters if they have an AA and/or MG and if there are no other important/ground threats around. No need to wake up sleeping dogs. ;)

I feel a disturbance in the force. A patch must be coming 'soon'.

These are patches...just because some ppl fear the word beta...that is their loss as these are very high quality releases. Well done...

Concerning mags ...

I've made a ticket some months ago about that mag included in the weapon's model and which shouldn't count as "carried".

For example you buy 5 mags,and then when you shoot them you get the sixth mag because it's already present on your weapon.

A good way to see this,is by buying ,for example, a M16,javelin and 2 javelin bullets.

When you switch to M16 you should have 1 mag because it's already there on your gun.

Do u remember that Iraqi farmer who brought an Apache down using his old carabine :D ? or those guys in Godzilla shoting the beast using 9mm ?or that colonel shooting Huge spiderrobot using USP in crysis ?

it's human nature to use available means even when they're not effcient.

What a wonderful list of changes - as an especial example, I really appreciate the addition of a file parameter at the launch phase, no need any more for the hassle with very long, different command lines for different missions. Really looking forward to testing the patch over the weekend.

wow, loads of betas!

today i decided to test this beta with cwr2. But i got interesting CTD with error message: Device reset failed, error 8876086c

what can be the cause of such strange error?

Please report asap to the CIT incl crashlogs, so it can be evaluated hopefully before 1.60 stable.
