ACE for OA 1.11

Many people, including myself, have been playing with ACE, JSRS and WarFX for several month without issues.

But as Sickboy mentions, if you do run across any problems please be sure to try disabling these and any other addons first before you submit a bug report on the ACE forums. All too often the ACE devs have to spend time investigating reported bugs only to discover it's caused by an unrelated addon.

I have problems with the BattleCenter. When starting a mission, i am not able to open the interaction menu. There is also no hangar; only if i look through the scope, i see me inside the hangar.

There is also no entry in my action menu to get access to the BC-Menu... :(

Please, advise.

[edit] Ok, the Self interaction menu opens, but there is no menu entry for the BC. Only "IR-Strobes, Magazines," etc.

[edit2] I updatet my ACE today (changes from saturday).

It also complains about dac_source being deleted, i dont know if its related.

wow just dld this mod and its impressive have not had time to play to much but from what ive seen it great how is the Ai with this mod?ive heard of the Zeus ai does it work with ace?

Zeus AI is outdated and not longer supported. In fact it will make your AI worse if you play with the last betas. It used to be a really good AI mod, but well the creator didn't continue his work. ACE enhances the AI but I use it in combination with ASR AI. Great firefights

Is it supposed to be impossible to control the gunner as a pilot of the apache in autohover mode? The gunner cursor keeps centering on the horizon, which it doesnt do when not in autohover. Or are there some buttons i need to assign?

I updated last week and keep getting this error:

Include file x\cba\addons\main\script_eventhanders.hpp not found

I deleted the cba folder and ran the six updater again and it reinstalled the cba folder but this error still persists...

Delete Extended_Eventhandlers.pbo / CBA_Extended_EventHandlers.pbo from all folders except @CBA.

Guys, i have stupid question. But i must ask it.

Playing in ACE, ammunition ends quicker in a fight compared to Vanilla Arma.

I mean, ammunition carried by soldiers. Why ? The standard loadout is lower by default ?

I am not playing any user missions, just simple group vs group created in editor.

They are less sharp shooters as normally ingame.

What version do you run anyway, because it was improved in recent versions.

Latest version is 1.12 RC3.

ace_main requires cba_extended_eventhandlers.

Halp?

Make sure @CBA is up2date. and delete CBA_Extended_EventHandlers.pbo / Extended_Eventhandlers.pbo from all other folders except @CBA.

COwarmod had extended_eventhandlers in it for some reason O_o. Maybe its supposed to be there.

Just keep the latest version of CBA incl XEH in @CBA modfolder, and load it with any mod that uses CBA should be sufficient :)

ACE is working.

Any chance to make different M4s and M16s? I know some troops use M16A4s with an adjustable stock or M4s with a really short barrel. I would like to see that.
