I would like to say thank you for creating such as richly equiped Orbat that is closer to the Takistani forces force strength wise then the massive overmatching of the US forces. I have been having a lot of fun playing and making some SP missions with a loosely connected story on Duala based around the RACS liberating the Island. I haven't played it yet in multiplayer but I would like to so can someone tell me what to filter as I tried the recommended filters on the website and it didn't come up with anything (same goes for filtering GITS). Though sadly I had to recently uninstall it because I'm not sure if it is compatible with COWarMod which I'm going to try tonight. Nothing like playing Domination or Evolution, moving in to finally take out the radio tower, then suddenly look up to see an SU-22 killing us all. Mmm... sweet death. wld427 1705 Posted February 3, 2013 There will not be much of a blue water navy for PRACS...... the Sekra class boat and STRB90 are the core of the ships, possibly a slightly larger vessel than the sekra in the future. The problem is Arma engine absolutely does not like large seagoing vessels and its not worth the effort in my opinion to make it happen. Besides the ships only function like a giant car or a static object..... not much fun there. The navy and marines both have liveries of the F-18. No sea king. We have SA-330 Puma. SOCAT may return. A phenomenal aircraft with fantastic capabilities, but they're gone now. There's still a bunch sitting in mothballs, but I wouldn't plan on seeing them anywhere outside of Tucson or a museum. I came to think of something .If you want to make a big war in the air or have a lot of things going on in the Sky you might consider using Viritual Airlines. It has a small Plug-in Program that is used to run a Viritual Airline on a timer that fills the skies with AI planes that has no framerate impact what so ever.Perfect for the game. Arma and the flight sim games are very very different. NONE of the code transfers over, and most of the models are not in useable formats. Plus the original makers are extremely difficult to get in touch with for permissions. The models are able to be "converted" via several dubios programs, but the poly count usually requires alot of shaving and the use of proxies for normal bits. The artillery is getting overhauled right now and a couple new pieces being added. all of my addons use the standard BIS artillery computer. Not sure what i would need to do to make it compatible with a 3rd party addon simply cause i dont worry about that...... All of my guns are made to work with the stock artillery module, although i wright my own tables for accurate impact distance calculations. If it works with the stock guns then it should work on mine. Could you please post a list of the guns it works on and the ones it does not? if so i can take a look into it once i dig into that pack, i am certain its only an inheritance issue.... I was thinking maybe it would be a good idea to add the Super Puma or Cougar to the Sahrani navy also, since they might be more suited towards ASW and maritime SAR. If not, I see the Romanians have made a naval variant of the SOCAT which could easily fit this role too. Might also be a good idea to have a maritime patrol aircraft too, since the navy needs to be able to patrol the waters around Sahrani. Ideally a P-3 Orion or something similar, although a naval variant of the OV-1 Mohawk with torpedoes could work too :) The Sahrani army is well covered when it comes to troops, vehicles and aircraft. Wouldn't mind seeing an ambulance version of the Pinz though. Alternatively a RACS reskin of either the ACR landrover ambulance or HMMWV ambulance. Can't drag that M113 everywhere.. ;) The RSAF has an excellent selection of aircraft. I was thinking that they might need to boost up the base security detachment with some vehicles. Maybe some sort of light armed vehicle like a RSAF variant of the LAV-150 or something similar? And maybe a RSAF landrover/Pinz/HMMWV to move around in and some sort of ambulance there too? Some sort of CSAR variant of the Puma (with 2 gunners) or Huey would also be a great addition to their already well equipped air wing :) The Marines have a great selection of rotary aircraft and their fixed wing capabilities will definitely improve with the F/A-18. Wouldn't mind seeing a gunship for them. Maybe a marine variant of the Cobra or SOCAT? Also the marines could use some more vehicles, especially amphibious. A variant of the AAV-5 or AAV-7 series of vehicles maybe. A marine reskin of the BIS AAVP-7A1 would definitely work too. They could also do with some more light armored vehicles and some support vehicles (ambulance, HQ vehicle, trucks). Maybe some more variants of the HMMWV or some sort of FAV (like the MG variant of the BIS Landrover or something similar). Just throwing out some ideas that happened to pop in my head here and appreciate your hard work ;) PRACS is my all time favourite mod both in ARMA and ARMAII, due to the diversity of vehicles and well thought out ORBAT.
