This kind of invokes an image of a nuclear "dirty bomb" which scatters radioactive material over a wide range on the wind. I don't know if anyone actually uses this terminology with dirty bombs but it could be a clue...

Another definition:

"duster - a windstorm that lifts up clouds of dust or sand; "it was the kind of duster not experienced in years"

dust storm, sandstorm, sirocco"

The whole dust storm thing kind of hints at a thretening element in an arid climate, which could just be a kind of callsign for an iranian agent.

I've been trying to summarise the general happenings on a thread in my forum, if anyone is just reading about this now and wants to know what's going on without reading 100+ pages, here you go. I missed a few pieces of info and speculation, but the general progression is covered. The second picture looks like a tecnical with some sort of surface ot air missile launchers (Strela or Igla i think).

The third one could be the chinese J-20 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chengdu_J-20)

The last one could be something like the Sikorsky H-34 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sikorsky_H-34)

Thats a Sikorsky/Westland Wessex. Both the US and the Royal Navy had them, not from the same era as hms astute but still RN related. But not BIS work.

Whether or not he is a BIS employee doesn't affect the scavenger hunt either way, and unless he openly admits it, we'll probably never find out anyway. Speculation on that topic seems rather superfluous.

How hard can it be. We are going underwater. The last frontline in ArmA (Undersea) is breached.

I think so too, going by the VBS2 paper that mankyle linked further back (if anyone actually made the effort to read it) there are a lot of maritime changes afoot in game and they are probably hinting at how it is going to filter it's way back to us though Arma.

The map is probably a teaser for how they are going to implement the new changes through a storyline.
