This thread has grown HUGE ammounts since last night.

Anyone wanna do a recap over what's happend so far, :o

1. As they said, the "hackers" came back as they promised (http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=14142). Look for hidden letters in the photo.

2. A user named UnuldorCZ have been so generous to visit the actual place shown in the photos. He found something and now we're just waiting for his return to tell us what it was.

You gotta read it, to appreciate it. As for the unattainable realism of the supposed photos, anyone remember pre-release Armed Assault 1 screenshots? :D

The ground textures in the ones of the first clue are washed out in places, distant scenery seems to be unnaturally blurred. Brilliant, if true.

If you join those Roman Numerals up in order it forms the image of a submarine.

Then there are letters ASTUTE, which is a type of submarine.

0. It quickly becomes obvious the "hackers" are BIS on a publicity stunt- a huge number of theories appear as to what the pictures show. Hackers expected back 42 hours later.

2. After many hours of hardwork the community realised that when connected the numbers in the photo reveal... [dramatic drumroll]... a submarine, letters show it is an Astute submarine.

Anyone see the demand for a full size novel???

Which part of the clue was it that referenced April 8th? It seems unlikely that anyone would use such a tragic incident as PR.
