incl. animation tweaks and some other minor fixes ...

ARMA 2 build 1.09 included inside

Some minor language fixes for BAF and PMC are included too ...

Just to avoid any confusion.

Do not expect further tweaking of anims delaying the release of 1.59.

Do not expect any new RC build unless something totally fatal is found.

Ofcourse post Your feedback or findings but keep this in mind that most likely any 'addressing' of them will go to beta/patch after 1.59.

2 questions...

1.The list of "All Changed Files" in the spoiler, does that mean there are more new changes or fixes besides the new betas which are not listed in detail?

2. Can we install the RC´s over the old RC´s without issues?

1. that's just list of all files changed from 1.57 ...

the only worth mention change is russian WF language fix for buy defences

and for user of previous RC there is fixed one file (so they should definitely install it)

2. and yes the info on the download spoiler says what versions you can install it over

But I also wanna to know can the near coming latest patch overwrite the RC patch that I've installed?

Need I reinstall the whole game if there's some issues in RC patch which cannot be solved by installing the latest patch to overwrite it?

Just be brave and use it. If something goes wrong - you can blame yourself for hanging around in beta forums. :)

If I can face all those irritating skipping-Debriefing bugs again after long missions, I can face possible reinstall threat too, so I'm going to install this and host with this tonight.

Fixed only for russian army but still true for takistanian factions.

Tested in official takistan CTI missions.

note: it's older than last beta, so use in combination with beta 79384 http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=116592 or newer

It is a little bit confusing to have same build number 79384 for both RC6 and latest beta. So to have all the latest changes above statement to use combination is still true and changes included in 79384 beta which was released earlier are not included in 79384 RC6?

Interesting RC. Will test more later.

1. While AI troops still prefer the GLOCK to their primary weapon (particularly KSK-Machinegunners with the MG36) I experienced not a single instance of units being irrevocably stuck. Please. Reloading your primary is ALWAYS better than reverting to your sidearm in arma2.

2. It may be placebo, but AI appeared to be more willing to spread over a larger area while in Danger mode. *shrug* It certainly increased their survivability.

3. AI units healed by BIS first aid modules still refuse to change stance. Meaning they stand around when bullets are flying...

4. Mouse appears to be a bit more laggy than before. Its probably on my end somehow.

These RCs are fantastic. Hoping for a full patch soon ... im getting lonely on my dedi with no players joining.

Have always thought that server admins should be FORCED to upgrade their servers when new full patches come out. As it stands I still see REALLY old version kicking around with quite a few people playing !

Guess what the biggest reason is of servers and players with (really) older versions ;)

BIS please, provide some connection for ACRE modification (contact Jaynus) to EXE code. We are unable to test any betas, becuase they are not supported by ACRE, and we are not willing to play anything withouth ACRE. Jaynus is not willing to spend his time for "searching address for hack" new betas, this take too much time. So, can be there some support from your side ? Or just everytime when you release new BETA (exe file), send him correct address (which he need), for you is that only few second to see into source code (dobug output). Thank you.

Played with this multiple hours yesterday.

performance ok

animations ok

multiplayer ok

multiplayer save ok

no crashes

------

overall good work!

Disappointingly skipping-Debriefing bugs and missing NLAW tube in COOP 08 Payback are still there. Can't expect miracles I guess.

Also found new silly bug in COOP 08 Armory (Chernarus). There are wooden dummy tanks in north part of the airfield and by those with helicopter missiles you will get minus score (in multiplayer score - press I key). What are they there for if not target practicing?

Very excited about all the good stuff coming. I hope that we get an updated field manual some day, as I recall quite a lot of changes in how you boss your units around, make them find cover etc. Or is this the age of Youtube manuals?

Sorry, no crash reports or anything bad to report. Clients and servers are stable as a rock, been running smooth as always for me. I've been running the betas and RC on my clients and server since the moment they get released, and will always do so.

I'll try to find something to complain about, but for now just want to say everything is fine.
