-)rStrangelove 0 Posted January 27, 2011 Wow, BIS holds the worldrecord in patching games thats for sure. All other developers should hide themselves in shame. PC gaming is far from dead :)
gossamersolid 155 Posted January 27, 2011 I have a question to the BI guys. Now that the other patch is out with TI on every gun, how do we prevent that single beta from being used on our servers, besides waiting for patch 1.58 retail? I also do not want to disable all betas, just that one.
mosh 0 Posted January 27, 2011 Oh no my cheatz is gone. :/ No doubt, made it easier to work on my predator mission...

Big Dawg KS 6 Posted January 27, 2011 I imagine it must have been somewhat embarassing for BIS to miss something like that with the first beta.
Beagle 684 Posted January 27, 2011 I have a question to the BI guys. Now that the other patch is out with TI on every gun, how do we prevent that single beta from being used on our servers, besides waiting for patch 1.58 retail?I also do not want to disable all betas, just that one. I tried the "cheat" and it is not really an advantage since you can't turn TI off.In fact its a real disadvantage since you cant use vehicles anymore and some guns aimpoints also don't work with TI. It just shows that TI is not the best allround Vision mode ;) and you cant tell friend from foe.
gossamersolid 155 Posted January 27, 2011 @Beagle: Thanks for the clarification. I didn't get to try the old beta out, but I heard everybody had TI so it made me worry :)
HeinBloed 0 Posted January 27, 2011 I get this error with ARMA2_OA_Build_77737: There are no shaders files inside the new bin.pbo (ArmA 2\Expansion\beta\expansion\dta\bin.pbo). Replacing the bin.pbo with an older one works.
