NASA to make a Friday Announcement concerning Aliens?

I saw a documentry a while ago how we could "colonize" planets, even if right now we would not be able to live on them. I am not sure if your referring to the same one.

It was about building factories causing polution, which causes global warnming, due to the rising temperature an atmosphere could start to form and the fun starts (this was it in a nutshell, dont discuss wether or not my layed out plan would work, the documentry was in fact very plausible, but futuristic and more detailed and scientific of course).

Indeed, it would take a long time but with modern technologies we should be able to help the ecology growing there to grow faster and maybe even direct it.

LOol, hahah :D.. enough now..phew.. This is serious business, NASA doesnt have the funds to go find alien life in space so they went looking for it on a lake on earth and they found it there, great!

And as a long term process it is plausible, yes.

outer life forms? maybe, who knows? i tend to beleave what i can see not what i can't see, and i'm pretty much not going to be bound on something that others say about it. I love the movies :cool:

come to think off it, maybe there is an outher life form! but they try to keep away from us ... maybe it is not like in the movies that they gonna eat us or what ever twisted minded scenario you can put allong with outher life forms. maybe they did observed us over all those years so far! and you know what!? we can bet they say keep away from them! they or kill! or try and want to domminate everything they descover! hehehe. its a fact that we most sertain will do that! if there is other life that the MAN will try to investigate after investigating they will aprouch it and try to take advantege of it even domminate it, like we always did and will do ;-) look up on the world with those eyes and take it for a fact were not that nice!

seriously, if there was a dominant race of aliens that wanted to kill us all, they would have done it a long time ago. The fact we have apparently been visited by numerous aliens for thousands of years (some early evidence going back to times before jesus when alien and space ship drawrings where described in egyption pyrogliphics.) then im sure that an invasion would not be likely unless america decides to attack their planet for oil.

your other post about aliens contradicting the fact that heaven and hell doesn't exist will cause people to go out and rob, steal and rape is nonsense. We live in a modern society where those things exist regardless of religious beliefs and most normal people abide by the laws of the land and not the laws of a book written thousands of years ago. The fact of the matter is if alien life is found and is backed up by scientific proof, then it will annoy the religious nuts, but so what... move on accept it just like people had to accept that the earth wasn't flat and heaven wasn't found beyond our clouds

erh...Vilas just take a look at France which is a well known atheist country and compare it to any African country where there's a lot of believers. Honestly I think French people are more "peacefull" than any africans (no racism here, just taliking about religion). Even if you don't believe in hell/heaven you most likely know was is good/bad. I'm glad to live in an Atheist country and I might be wrong but I feel like atheist countries are more tolerant and have more respect for life than any religious country. This is just my opinion, I respect people who believe in god as long as they don't claim to know THE truth and I'll burn in hell for eternity because I don't pray their god and I don't follow their way of life

not only about creatures that in 100 or 50 or 1000 years might visit earth

but also in fall of all what we know now like morality basing on christian roots (if there is no heaven and hell, why people should be nice to each other ?)

such life find is not only matter of biology, but about whole life philosophy , religion society systems, moral beliefs etc. that keep some people to be moral when policeman do not watch them

not only scientifict fact, but also sociological, pshylogical (can cause panic or etc cause people will throw away all beliefs and can panic and change attitude that now blokes them - for good of society peace )

Religion is not supposed to be centered around human being.

Current main ones are anthropocentric, that doesn't mean that non anthropocentric theory is anti-religious.

Moral exists not because of religion, but because it is a necessity for specie survival.

hmm, well it certainly makes for an interesting discovery. I guess finding such things allows a wider search for life, till now I suppose its all been looking for somewhere that could support creates similar to what we had already found on earth (with our DNA structure etc)

Just red a German summary in a newspaper but it didn't actually say its alien life, just some weired form of life on Earth, am I correct?
