I can't seem to make ACRE work correctly with loadout scripts. It seems to either eat up my radio or give me a radio that I wasn't supposed to have.

Any reliable way to make loadout scripts work reliably with ACRE, always giving the correct radio (defined in script in one way or another) after every respawn?

Again - frankly, this release deserves its own thread. But until TS3 officially updates, we really don't want to deal with the "herp derp" of using a beta TS3 and the bug reports that come to us which turn out to be TS3 bugs; not to mention the idea of running a beta of TS3 already makes people "meh".

Sorry, I'm a little confused. On the official Teamspeak download page there are only betas, where there any non-betas ever somewhere ?!

ACRE has required OA for a long time now if you are asking if it will work with just ArmA2 1.09.

I heared rumors about an incompatibility Problem between 1.09 and ACRE. I havent found any information about that, thats why I´m asking. But meanwhile I just installed the Patch and tested it onto our server. ACRE works pretts fine. That was just but a small test, so I can´t state about any deeper issues yet, but a.t.m. it seems that there are none.

Sorry, I'm a little confused. On the official Teamspeak download page there are only betas, where there any non-betas ever somewhere ?!

What you also can do is to tell TS to update on the very latest version by adding a certain file into the TS directory.

If you join several MP servers which provide different ACRE versions so I recomment to download and install a new TS client and install it next to TS in a seperate folder.

My one is called Teamspeak3Beta.

Then update it by using a special file.

This one is called update.ini and consists just this:

[Channel]

beta=true

Copy it exactly as I provided right into a notepad and name it update.ini. Make sure to save as all files.

Then go to your TS/help and hit check for updates. TS will update it self and so you´re on the very latest version.

What happened to all the ACRE classnames on dev-heaven? I get a 403 "You are not authorized to access this page." now everytime.

EDIT:

Checking the first post all links except the community tracker provide a 403

We are in the process of moving from DH to our own tracker. This is because of circumstances relating to the future development of ACRE beyond that of ArmA2. :)

Don't worry though, its Redmine, just like DH. The wiki is not there yet though.

Just to note, we would have loved to stay on DH if we could have. Its a wonderful tool and resource for the community and Sickboy and Kju are top notch people! :)

It's for their VBS2 platform, that is the "future" of ACRE, an expansion on the public version for commercial exploitation :).

They deserve it too.

I use FRAPS to record coop missions. And this new ACRE seems to use some kind of audio codec that messed up with FRAPS. Can it be possible? the voices over radio sounds fine ingame, but, when Im going to edit the videos the radio messages sounds very bad, horrible :(

What about normal TeamSpeak. Can you record that correct?

Yes, the weird voice is caused by this new Acre, very distorted and noisy. also you can hear 2 voices, one normal first and then the distorted radio effect with some delay of a few ms

that might be because "someone" forgot to turn off the in-game VON & PTT :cool:

Yah. Sounds like a gameplay/ts3/client issue. You can note on youtube many, many UnitedOperations videos with ACRE recordings being flawless.

Remember that default game VOIP key is capslock, as well as the default ACRE radio key, so if you didn't change anything at all you would definitely get the above effect. You must change one of those keys (and shouldn't use in-game VOIP with ACRE at all anyway, it beats the whole point of the addon).

Hence why despite numerous complaints, we picked capslock for default :P

We always use ACRE for coop mission and I already know that. Im uploading a video now, so you can see it (hear it)

this is the default in-game von, like I said one of the people you are communicating with have forgotten to delete it from their control settings :cool:
