I think in ArmA2 it's better to go with semi with all weapons (except MGs) just like in real life.

I only use full auto in weapons that you cannot change fire mode (M134, M249, etc).

OFFTOPIC: CoD has O% reality in it, it try's to be the best there is (and fails) by using good graphics and fast unrealistic CQB. Have you noticed that if you have a computer that can run ArmA 2, ArmA 2 and OA have graphics just as good as it and there is always going to be realism that even if they try'd, could not match. Sorry is this annoys anyone but its true.

I don't think you will find many people here who would be annoyed by someone bashing CoD ;)

I personally use Semi for most engagements, and Auto for CQB. The FAL is a real gun!

I gave FN Fals to the Lingor rebels. I usually use this gun on semi and only switch to burst in tight places (buildings, streets) or when I provide cover fire.

Semi. FAL is not made to be fired on auto (burst is arma2;)). It's in essence an old fashioned rifle that has an auto-capability.

Semi all the way. That applies to ALL rifles for me. With the M249, M60, and Mk48 I always try to fire in as tight of bursts as possible. The only exception with those three is if I'm prone, then I may fire a little longer than the 2-3 round burst, especially if there's a lot of targets clustered together.

However, with the MP5s I always use burst on those. The only reason for that is that they are relatively weak and I rarely ever fire them at a target over 100m away. Usually it's 70m or closer that I use it.
