SaOk 112 Posted October 12, 2010 (edited) Thanks. :) But I noticed the custom-voices are broken now. All (custom) voices played with "say" or "playsound" and probably with other commands, cut in few seconds after played very disjointed. Only the official teamradio seems to work normal. Edit: It seems like all voicefiles under CfgSounds are broken (or say/playsound-commans are broken). CfgRadio and CfgMusic works good. NeoHazard 10 Posted October 12, 2010 no luck on the warfare module. eh :(
CarlGustaffa 4 Posted October 12, 2010 @saok: Confirmed. For me it appears that the sound is starting to play over and over and over again without stopping. I have to tab between applications (windowed mode) in order to make it stop. Never heard that before, although I'm having my first "out of memory" error in UltraEdit (prior to launching Arma2). This is on updated client and dedi server, with sound addons (but the problematic files are mission cfgSound files).

[frl]myke 14 Posted October 12, 2010 Had followed all beta so far and all worked fine except this one now. It's the first time i had a BSOD during playing MP. Was goin back to 1.54.73643 then and this worked flawless. Sadly the rpt didn't tracked the BSOD. If there is something i could deliver that could possibly helpful, please send me a PM. jamesf1 0 Posted October 12, 2010 [73974] Changed: foreach variable _index renamed to _forEachIndex @Dwarden: Thanks for renaming it, but was there any particular reason for not adopting something shorter, but still 'rarely used' such as "_xi" as discussed in the last thread? (More for interest, rather than anything else... _forEachIndex is quite long for a loop variable name...) :)
CarlGustaffa 4 Posted October 13, 2010 Because i is imaginary, and we can't have imaginary x's, can we? :D Seriously though, I don't think it matters much. Rarely do I need the index in a forEach struct, and when I do it won't cause any issues.
kylania 568 Posted October 13, 2010 The speed and amount of direct feedback and features by the devs to issues that have been coming up in beta is just amazing. BIS, you guys rock! :)

I was merely wondering whether there was a particular argument for "_forEachIndex" - as you say, it's hardly of any great consequence in the grand scheme of things :)
maruk 80 Posted October 13, 2010 Any short variable name still has high probablity of potential conflicts. With _forEachIndex we believe the risk of possible problems is minimized and this variable can be useful addition for scripters. @Dwarden: Thanks for renaming it, but was there any particular reason for not adopting something shorter, but still 'rarely used' such as "_xi" as discussed in the last thread?
