Hmm i think now i have enough knowledge to do texturing on Tu-95 MS, considering the fact of how fast i managed to texture model below :)

Finally have finished this Pe-2 light bomber aircraft for russian ww2 movie. Had very tight deadline, have modeled from ground up, uv mapped and textured in 1 week & 1 day.

I have even setted a new record for my self , i`ve done none stop texturing for 22 hours from start to end!!!!

In the end i`m very glad with a result, finally i have learned how to paint nicely detailed weathered metal surfaces, if i only had more time i would also add more detailed scratches here and there, but for so far it`s good enough Last week was too exhausting, gonna get some sleep now :)

Glad to let you know that i have rebooted work on Tu-95 MS, have done lots of work today, remanaged UV`s, lowered amount of textures as a result :) Created huge amount of selection groups for easy texturing :) There you gon first pass AO generated :)

Planning to finish texturing soon as i can, it`s abit more advanced than Pe-2 or Ju-87 due to amount detail in cockpit :)

ironically we're had too small islands to enjoy even tactical planes, sadly :[

mind that 95MS bear Cruise Missiles had about 2.5x bigger range and 30% less signature than competing ones.

You realize, the ONLY operators of the Tu-95 were the USSR/Russia, and the Ukraine (because they got some when the USSR ended). Takistan wouldn't have a Tu-95, nobody else on the planet would...

Well yes, but I don't think Arma 2 has a storyline of how weapons got where. But even so, Ukraine has retired them from military service, maybe Takistan could buy them.

The reason I think it'd be cool is that Takistan is too weak, really needs some work if you ask me.

Third world country buying a big long-range plane that carries mostly long-range cruise missiles with limited bombing capability? Sounds too crazy even knowing about love of Ukrainian government for making regular heavy sales of former Soviet equipment... Too much alternative history, I'd say. And too expencive plane to operate for Takistan-like country.

Tu-95 doesn't offer a lot space for walking, since it was designed as strategical bomber... The same reason why Takistan could not operate it.

Been in Tu-95 this summer, there's really not so much space for moving inside. Had to lower my head everywhere while moving.

actually India operated some Bears in Patrol configuration[ie dubbed as "Tu-142"] for some time.

Some update, i had lots of issues with Mari project, many times project got corrupted during texturing and it takes time to recover it... Great software but still too many bugs.

Anyway seams are done, currently i`m texturing bump (those little screws all other the place), soon as i`m done with this, i`m going to move over to the weathering effects.

I really hope project isn`t going to be corrupted again, what is going to happend for sure, but atleast that it`s not going to take for me to much time recovering it, or rebuilding.
