maddogx 13 Posted August 24, 2010 (edited) Changelog:[72851] New: GameSpy modhash key contains list of mods hashes and is used to check there are additional mods on server missing on client (yellow icon in UI). [72787] New: Mods contents hashes are compared instead of mods lists when equal mods are required on server. [72716] Fixed: Commandline -mod behavior, active Mods list in UI, ModLauncher UI dialog with better mods detection and handling. Download The top most changelog entry looks particularly interesting. :) Edited August 24, 2010 by MadDogX

maddogx 13 Posted August 24, 2010 now if you encouter any crash then crashdumps must fly faster than ASAP to my email or appear on CIT Faster than possible? How would that work? ;) Have you ever considered creating a small tool that would automatically gather the necessary crash info/files and send them to a place where you can access them without much hassle for the user? How would that work? ;)Have you ever considered creating a small tool that would automatically gather the necessary crash info/files and send them to a place where you can access them without much hassle for the user? yes but the problem is it's not that easy (bw wise, hw wise, usability wise) as You think ... it's on 'nice to have in future' list

-=seany=- 5 Posted August 24, 2010 They don't list fixes to bugs that where caused by the Beta in the change log, so hopefully it should be fixed.

Alex72 1 Posted August 24, 2010 You can count on me : )Btw can anyone confirm that the dump files overwrite themselves when a new ctd occurs? Yes they overwrite so get it right after a crash.
xeno 234 Posted August 24, 2010 Sorry to say... I haven't found a new crash opportunity yet. I've tried everything, played online for some time, with and without addons, nothing. Looks good :) Xeno
fideco 1 Posted August 24, 2010 No crash, no ctd, no problems here. Also the performance seems to me a little bit improved in my favoured mission. I think OA is getting better and better every beta... Cheers
rübe 127 Posted August 24, 2010 Sorry to say...I haven't found a new crash opportunity yet. Yeah, this patch does really look to be way more robust than the last few. For example the second latest patch caused my game to halt/freeze every once in a while, while I heavily switched/alt-tabed back and forth to other applications - usually on alt-tabing back to the game. Didn't happen with this new patch yet. :D
kylania 568 Posted August 24, 2010 Mine's been locking up, with no dump file, consistently while alt-tabbed. Been running all day long alt-tabbing out happily with an earlier beta though. No RPT errors or dump files though. :( I'll try to figure out when exactly this is happening.
NeoHazard 10 Posted August 24, 2010 (edited) Big D, whatever you guys are doing over there, keep it up. I'm seeing some performance improvement on my test mission in zargabad, I dont know if you did any optimizations of anything along those lines for this patch, but it seems to be getting better either way. Also, might be a fluke but I had an AI gunner in my humvee and he was super responsive at eliminating targets with the nade-tosser, in both the open desert area and the streets for vehicle cqc. No problems yet... but then I haven't really tested more than 1% of what there is to do in this sim. Edited August 24, 2010 by NeoHazard
50.cal 10 Posted August 24, 2010 Yes they overwrite so get it right after a crash. Thx:thumb:
