bodybaq posted a topic in ARMA 3 - SQUADS AND FANPAGES
About us: [GHSE] - Gameaholic.se is a non-profit gaming community (earlier known as Hjerpeskans) founded in 2002. We host and administrate our own servers, arrange a 4-day long LAN-meeting every summer and have a booth at the Sci-Fi World convention every year. As a community we testing and playing alot of games, editing missions and making events together. We've become a bunch of really good friends over the past years, sometimes it feels like a big family or more like a band of brothers. With a member pool on around 1000, there were never a problem with creating a ArmA 3 unit, event or server. Today we are ~40 active members signed to permanent roles and Groups for our Coop-Nights and other special Joint-Op events. Our missions: On Friday nights every week, around 18:00 to 02:00, we run one of our ArmA 3 events, called "Co-op Night". As most of you know, Co-op stands for cooperative which means, players against AI (Artificial Intelligence), so if you're up for TvT/PvP, we aint what you looking for. During all Co-op Nights we play in permanent groups, with predetermined roles and dutys. Before mission starts, all participants shall have thier group, role, equipment and addons ready. This is almost the only demand we have, so please follow it. On our ArmA 3 server we've chosen to play MilSim due most of us have done military service and Sold-F is our Bibel. In other words, making the game as realistic as possible, mature gamers, playing missions together with high empathy. It's pretty simple, all who playing with us on our server need to follow this code. If not, dont even bother joining. In order to get the gameplay as realistic as possible, we use a few mods and addons on our server using ArmA3Sync. Some of'em just trusted, but most of'em are a requirement, read more about it in here! Same goes with Teamspeak 3 Client, due to all of our voice'n radio communication in-game is over TFAR/ACRE2. We play as Swedish Armed Forces and our main language during missions are Swedish only. When the Coop-Night fades out, we leave the server up with the same mission for the rest of the week, so members can keep fighting and training together. When Friday night closing in, we take down the server, updating or changing mission. Around 18:00 server are back up'n running so all players and groups can get thier shit together before heading out (normaly 19:30 ish). We also do larger "Joint-Operations" now and then, together with SGU Swedish Gaming Unit. We try to have one of those once every month and normaly ends up in platoon size with 30-40 players in 7-8 Groups, using HQ, logistics, FOB etc. Sounds like your kind of dish? How to become a member? First of all, you need to know Swedish, be 16+ or older and be registerd at our forum to become a member. When approved, you join our Discord server and wright your forum username in the #access chat channel. Get in contact with Mandrake, watar or 80dy8ag on Discord to get all support and information you need. If there is anything you wanna ask, simple pop a reply in here, send a PM or email to info@gameaholic.se Or stalk us in here.. . -
NATO (European) Reaction Corps [Milsim] [Recruiting]
Bulajunior14 posted a topic in ARMA 3 - SQUADS AND FANPAGES
NATO (European) Reaction Corps is a English Speaking Multinational Unit Playing Arma to a Milsim standard, with a truly International Feel. NATO(E)RC was formed in September of 2016 by a group of people who have been in the Arma community for many years. Born from 3 main reasons. 1. Frustration of the wider arma community who seemed hugely opposed to co-operation and hostile to other units. 2. The Idea that Modern warfare would no longer be individual nations but rather coalition based. 3. Honestly Half of us were Swedish, the other half British and we couldn't decide a nation to become. What started as an experiment has become a highly successful venture. From originally 4 guys the battle group now boasts an average of around 40 People attending operations with a rate of attendance of roughly 83% of all those on the roster. As a community we emphasis co-operation, Teamwork, Discipline and banter as core aims. Operations are Sundays at 8PM GMT, With individual National Training's taking place on a variety of days. Unit Composition Commander of the unit is Maj. E. Hawkins (1RRF) and XO Lt. P. Knez (P4). The main command is made up of a NCO from each unit to ensure all units have an equal say within the battlegroup. Units are formed into 2 Categories; Main and Secondary. Main Detachments are Infantry that are well established within the battlegroup. Secondary are supporting arms and newer units. The Two founder units are 1st Battalion Royal Regiment of Fusiliers and P4 Skaraborg Regiment. Main 1st Battalion Royal Regiment of Fusiliers - British Armored Infantry P4 Skaraborg Regiment - Swedish Mechanized Infantry 2nd Battalion 8th Marines - US Marine Corps Infantry Secondary Combined Air Wing - Multinational Fixed and Rotary Wing Air Assets Irish Guards - British Light Infantry Recce Platoon Fallschirmjägerregiment 31 - German Airborne Infantry Joining The Battlegroup The Battlegroup is not looking for any new detachments at the moment but is all open to talks to other existing units within the Arma community. Each unit provides its own recruit training to ensure all their members can complete missions with a high degree of efficiency. The Combined Air Wing will not allow inital entry recruits, all its members must of spent at least a month in a unit already and have reached a rank equal to OR-2. General Requirements 16+ (Exceptions may be made and a Detachment IC's Discretion) Speak English Have a Mic and Teamspeak Willing to Download Mods Wanting to play in a Milsim Environment Can Take a Joke There is something for everyone in the NATO(E)RC whether you want to be part of a face paced aggressive force or want to carefully plan out and execute missions. Each nations SOPs and fighting styles ensures there will be a place for everyone. If you are intressted in anything you read here or simply want more information about the unit join the teamspeak ip below and speak to someone with the C1 Server group or any member, and they will be more than happy to help you out. New website up! http://www.jtf16.org Who are we? JTF16 is a group of mature ArmA veterans, we consist primarily of Swedish players at this moment but that is something we don’t mind changing. We play co-op games (apart from a few special events) and we have our own dedicated game server where we also host our mod repositories and TS3. We host our own OPs two days a week and we try do joint-ops with a bigger groups as often as we can. The group has its own very talented mission and campaign makers and usually do campaigns that stretches over several weeks. So, what do we do?We play ArmA, that pretty much it, but we do it with a twist that we like to call “Milsim Lightâ€. We like to mix milsim with casual play, creating a fun and inviting environment for everyone involved. In practice that means that we do have a set structure and in-game we have a chain of command but without the use of ranks and such. What we strive for is to get some really good immersion going, but at the same time understand that we do this because it's fun. We are looking for mature players and we have set the age limit to join JTF16 to 25 years old. If you want more information on how to apply to JTF16 head over to the recruitment page and read there. Join JTF16 We are always interested in expanding our list of members, and we would love to hear from you. Adding more capable riflemen, medics, team leaders, medics and support personnel lets us create even bigger missions and lets us utilize more roles. Our wishes As stated on our Who We Are page, we are all ArmA veterans and we are looking for a bit older players than most other teams do. We are looking for mature players who can differentiate between when its appropriate to play around and when it's time to get you game face on. Our wishes are: You are able to speak and write English. You need to be 25 years or older. You need to be mature, respectful and know how to handle situations like an adult. You need to have a working microphone and a basic knowledge how to use TeamSpeak. You need to have a basic understanding of ArmA 3. If you want to know more or are interested in joining us, head over to our website or drop me a PM here on the BI forums.
