You can't without mods. In Arma 2, they'd just surrender on their own. -

You don't need to. Just empty your backpack, pick up the gun off the ground and put it somewhere safe. -
Any chance you can add the ambulance siren to the Gendarmerie offroad? Also, any chance of a Gendarmerie van? How about a plain blue PASGT helmet with neck protector? Also, any chance of an ISIS-style bombing drone for the FIA based on the demining drone?

If you confiscate the weapon on the ground (can't be a combatant if you don't have a weapon lol), and put it in the ambulance, your teammates still fire on the unarmed civilian. -

Try ctrlSetBackgroundColor or look through the other GUI commands. -

I've dug around some more, and I've made some progress, but the progress isn't very useful. The display that contains the countdown element is RscDisplayCurator with the idd of 312 and the countdown portion of it is the control group Clock with the idc of 16808. The RscDisplayCurator script handles the countdown timer. I suspect parts of it are baked into the engine, thus it may not be possible to implement something that uses the default clock. The general sort of "sidebar" used by RscDisplayCurator is a control called MPProgress that inherits from the control RscMissionStatus. There is also a display RscMPProgress. -

I've tried looking for the IDDs and IDCs of the displays/dialogs for the respawn ticket system, and I can't find them. I'm talking about the little squares that appear on the right side of the screen with the numbers indicating the respawn tickets remaining. I think they're also related to the countdown timer and control sector thingies. Does anyone know what they are or a script that uses them?

In the English translation for the End Game showcase, when Watchtower says "Remember your marksmanship principals." he really means "Remember your marksmanship principles." -
Amy Mack, an anthropology major from uLethbridge in Lethbridge, Canada, wrote an entire thesis on Arma 3: This Isn’t What War Is Like: An Ethnographic Account of ARMA 3 It's a hefty read, around 200 pages or so. From the little I've skimmed from it, it seems like a pretty interesting perspective of the game and the community. It does devote a part to the Gamergate controversy and the whole feminism shitstorm in the rest of the gaming community, so be warned lol.

Another feature request: A module to change the ownership of objects. I hate it when a Zeus with over 9000 desync tries to put down 100+ AI. They're impossible to kill because every time you shoot them they eat the bullets.

I don't know if anyone's mentioned this yet, but can you fix the Ares Save/Load modules (they're buggy) and add a version that uses getPosWorld and setPosWorld instead of getPosASL and setPosASL?
