  1. Still rolling around, currently doing a campaign revolving around the fighting in western Germany in 1945 on the Rosche Terrain. Closed down our Heavy Weapons department, due to it not working out the way we liked. But still rolling with two platoons of infantry and Panzer support.
  2. The 2.Panzer-Division is a Wehrmacht 'Milsim' unit for Bohemia Interactive's latest title, ArmA III. Our campaign and event operations span the period of the Second World War. Our operations focus on cooperative gameplay. Structure, tactics, and weapons are based on actual military documentation. We strive for a mixture of accuracy and entertainment, and will edit and update areas of the unit as aspects change such as mods and terrains. What we are looking for: - Mature, active, and reliable members. - Applicants interested in utilizing realistic tactics and squad layouts. - Members able to make our weekly events.   4. Still rolling on out! Picking up our jolly time in Africa from this sunday onwards again. We've recently moved up to two Zugs of Panzergrenadiers, meaning our unit is again Kompanie-sized with the support of aHeavy Weapons Team and Panzer attachment.
  5. The unit recently finished up a Mini-campaign in Normandy 1944, where elements of the 2.Panzer-Division faced off against an overwhelming British force! For the next few weeks we will be doing a few side missions, before returning to our Afrika Korps Scenarios. Beyond this, we've done some restructuring such as the implementation of a basic Rekrut-Course and setting up a Heavy Weapons Team that operates Panzershrecks, HMGs , PaKs and sometimes even mortars! - We are still looking for capable people to(in particular) fill in our infantry slots!

    Star Wars mod, what is going on?

    This really isn't about two teams needing to make up. This is about one team stealing assets, both from the mod team BHI* and from other video games. This 'opposition' mod doesnt have any real argument for them, as they are just pirates and nothing else. People might want a star wars mod, sure, but that doesnt absolve all the legal and moral issues with content theft. *Never played the mod, but the video from earlier puts it rather plainly.

  10. A: The belt-buckle is supposed to be that bright when its brand new, yes. Here is a belt from the 30's(See Here!). Given that the whole uniform looks mint condition, I am assuming weathering will be done later, or not at all. Totally up to the WW team. B: This is an actual coat they used. C: Hell no. That is a proper Feldgrau(Wiki Article), even then there are a ton of tone variations in Feldgrau cloth, depedning on the factory and year. The germans did not wear grey uniforms, like in those old american movies from the 70's. D: Also wrong. This style of coat saw quite a bit of use in the Ardennes as well. Given that they are going for 1945 in Germany, such uniforms would still be wobbled around all over the place. The whole place was a mess of varied equipment from stores, such as the black Jackboots which were meant to be phased out from 1943 in favor of Schnurschue.
  11. Still going strong! Currently having a new website in the works at the following URL: https://2pzd.net/ However it will be a while before we fully release that beauty. Beyond that, we've made some structural changes to our events; So for the future we do not have set slots in our squads, except for the leaders, so its first-come first-serve for those juicy roles in the Gruppe. Furthermore we will occasionally play alternative missions to our Kursk 1943 setting, however there will still be at least one mission each sunday that plays our usual setup.

    Re-uploading mods on the workshop

    They have certain legal clauses that make people's palms get sweaty. We in the FoW team were very reluctant to upload to workshop, because a few of our artists did not like the wording of the subsriber agreement related to content uploading.     I can't really say anything related to this except for possibly/maybe/potentially. Generally with 99% of this type of questions, the awnser will be this, as priorities might change down along the line, so we won't promise any inclusions.

    If we call them suggestions instead, then I am fine with it. But just be aware that just because someone suggests something, doesnt mean we will be doing it. We have debated wether to make them attachment ourselves a tad, and you would be correct. The scopes are not like modern ones, where you can fairly easily change them out. So we MAY go in the direction of making them permanent, so that there would be a scoped and unscoped variation of the rifles. But as mentioned earlier, marksmanrifles/snipers are down the line.

    A sniper version of what? I assume all the Bolt-action rilfes, in which case I can say..Probably, some time down along the line.
  20. Which angle are they bombing the convoy from? If they are attacking from a flank, then hitting anything in it will obviously be harder. But if you want to be sure, that certain parts of the convoy are destroyed, then you can always use a trigger to do so. Make it triggered by the Stukas fly overhead. --- Yes it is a bit of a pain, always has been in my opinion. But, have you tried verfying your game cache and uninstalling-reinstalling both the mods you use? --- I sometimes have the same, where they float rigth in front of my face, but the projectile has actually fired and hits my enemy nonetheless, it was just a visual bug. But I believe the grenades have a safety distance, so you need to shoot them like 50+ meters.
  21. You remembered to scroll your mousewheel, and select one of the grenades? So that he does the little animation to place them. I don't have this issue, so it might be another mod or something on your end.
  22. It works the exact same way, except that the Launcher is detacheable in IFA3, and you can't fire normal bullets while having a grenade in the 'cup'.
  23. You need to have bullets in your gun, so remember to reload it. Then aim high, with a grenade loaded and fire.
  24. The Group is still going strong! We recently opened up proper in IFA3/FoW with the addition of our Mechanized infantry and Panther tank! Site has also been updated to proper show our change over to a new mod, and is therefore less dominated by the CSA38 mod.
  25. Hey! So, currently we've run into a bit of an issues, and it happens with every mission. Last sunday it happend with 37 people. What happens is that we get to the role selection area, everyone picks their roles and readies up, we click okay and head ingame. The server will then boot us back to mission selection, where we can select the mission again. If, we then go in using groups of 9 people at a time, loading in bit by bit, then we have no issues. Our only idea is that it might be Alive(incorrectly set up) doing it, due to it hogging up all the traffic the server puts out, but truly we have no idea.
