make sure you have disabled windows firewall, the reason for that: this firewall is a joke, most of time it disturbes more than it would help and anybody with real bad intensions can disable/overpass this firewall in seconds. try to disable the IPv6 protocoll there are still some routers and or ISP's arround that can struggle with this.

did you update to the latest versions ? since arma3 got 64bit tobii had to support that Tobii Eye Tracking Core Software v2.7.0 Infinite Screen Extension 2.0.5

since 64bit update I do encounter quite a lot of memory crashes, anyone has made same observations ?

for better game experience he should really better save money for a way better system and not throw out money for a ssd, a such drive on this system would be wasted money my advice for him is that he should run arma3 at least on a 7200 rpm HD and defragment regulary the drive after patches btw the bottleneck is not the drive it is the system in general

for arma 3 a simple x-box controller does the job outstanding well ! if you don't intend to fly other serious flightsims like DCS then there is absolute no need to spend hundrets of dollars ! but if you really need a joystick buy a: http://www.thrustmaster.com/products/tflight-hotas-x they are cheap and do work very good. arma3 flight physics are a joke .... your PC specs are quite low for arma3, second problem is that arma3 does not really like amd cpu's. arma3 needs a cpu with very good single core performance and unfortunately amd really suck at this. in your case not even a ssd drive would really help much.

This 100% a broken mod, the only thing what you can do is load each mod one by one until you find the broken one that causes this. With this problem the arma3 developers won't help you they do only support vanilla arma3 and no additional mods made by community.

If the eye gaze is too nervous for you try to reduce the responsiveness to ~30% or increase the start point slightly. But for my taste this makes the gaze too slow specially reducing responsiveness, better would be increasing start point. The 4C needs a very disciplined eye movement, the more you use it the faster you will get used.

I have it enabled because I do use Tobii Eyetracker 4C, in hope that the tracker will use the other cores not occupied by arma3. I did tweak arround in the settings and found quite a very useful one for arma3. I have since ~3 months a Tobii Eyetracker 4C and must say it works amazing well. I did not really change anything in configuration and left it on default, after a few weeks I got used with the tracking. With new 64bit update the tracking is very smooth.

there is absolute NO NEED to tweak there anything ! arma3 do set this parameters if you leave them default correct for your hardware. apart of: -nosplash -enableHT -hugePages -noLogs you should not use any other parameters ! other parameters should only be used to configure some special or uncommon hardware, like 12 core CPU or a GTX 970 where you need to limit the VRAM due stupid memory handling of GPU. if you really need to get the most out of your CPU and hardware then download this: process lasso this is the only software I can really advice, all other software like razer or any other performance boost "fake" software are garbage !

best is you ask dwarden what setting you exactly need to tweak for the GTX 970 he can tell this better than I can do

arma3 v 1.66 multiplayer: liberation altis v0.924 no mods loaded after ~1h game play the FPS dropped to unplayable 5 graphics and player models got distorted it looks this problem still exists by the way... thank you BI Developers, for the outstanding implementation of Tobii Eye Tracker very well done, it is kind regards maquez [Q-Net]
