    Cold War Expansion - Norway

Really cool. I'd love to see more people expand upon the GM setting more. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this!

    Altis 90's

Great mod. I just purchased Global Mobilization earlier this week and have really been enjoying the assets. I think incorporating them into the Armaverse was a great idea, I'm glad someone's taking the opportunity to expand on the lore/history of Altis/Stratis as well. Good stuff all around.

Question about CSAT in the contact dlc.

I believe it was implied that CSAT and the Russians are at the very least allies, but I don't think Russia is a part of CSAT just yet by 2039.

Future plans to continue "The legacy"

Got it, thanks. I would love some more CDLC's. Looking forward to it.

Future plans to continue "The legacy"

Is there more Creator DLC coming out in 2020? And if so, do we know what it will be?
  6. Considering the canon ending of 'East Wind' has NATO/FIA winning the conflict on Altis/Stratis, I imagine that CSAT would be thrown off the islands entirely. I don't see any situation in which the new FIA-backed government would allow CSAT to remain on the islands in any capacity. If anything, I think that the Alatian government would make an effort to become a part of NATO itself. If for nothing else other than national defense. Years of war will have ravaged the national economy and people. They would be seeking stability and peace, which NATO secured for them, and could provide in some capacity going forward. I think the talks would likely end in a deal in which CSAT is expelled from the island, and NATO is given a temporary (5-10 year) deal in which they can station units on Altis/Stratis, but in return, they must support the new government financially and provide for the islands defense while the AAF is disbanded, then re-built from the ground up as the ADF (Altis Defense Force) with NATO assisting in training and equipping this new force.

    About ARMA 3 'win' ending

About a year late here, but there is two separate endings. You got the 'B' ending, also known as the non-canon ending. If you would like to get the 'A' ending, the canon ending, do the last mission again, but this time completely disregard Miller/CTRG calls and instead participate in the NATO assault.

    [SP-Campaign] Codename Phalanx

Just completed this campaign. Phenomenal work. The narrative was interesting, the game-play was well paced and the conversation system was intriguing and unique. I'll be keeping my eye out for more content from you!

    [SP] Road To Pyrgos

Probably the best SP (non-BIS dev made) mission I've ever played. Phenomenal work. The voice over work was high quality, the transitions smooth and un-interrupting, and the game-play was engaging but not overbearing in difficulty. Great job.

    ACRE2 Stable Release

Does ACRE2 block alive players chatter while dead players are in spectator? To be more specific, in my group - dead players in spec cant hear living players chatter. Is there a way to change this?
  14. Does F3 block chatter from spectator by defualt, or is that an ACRE2 thing? To be more specific, my group is unable to hear living players while in spec and we'd like to change that.
  15. Core Tactical - Tactical Fun What is Core Tactical all about? Core Tactical is based off the idea of "Tactical Fun", and we like to stand by this ideal as we play in and outside of ArmA. The "Tactical" part reflects the way we communicate, move, and function on a large scale. The "Fun" part reflects the way we go about making the experience for our members and ourselves. Were looking to make the best experience possible for all of our member base. Most of our missions revolve around intense close quarters infantry contact, with other units/assets acting as supporting elements. We aren't looking for easy, clean and cut scenarios. We like throwing ourselves into intense situations, we want are victories to be earned through teamwork, skill, and determination. If we don't put our all in, we don't expect to come out on top. All of our missions are made in house by members within the community. We provide a wide variety of cooperative and adversarial scenarios. From an air cav squad in the heart of Nam', to a Russian Spetsnaz unit infiltrating into enemy bases. In our adversarial scenarios we are able to take advantage of human dynamics to change the way our missions play and interact with the player. Core Tactical's Virtues Core Tactical has hereby been established to serve as a mature community that focuses on tactical fun. We believe that any set community should be set on a few common principles, which are listed below. Respect - Simple, treat others as you would like to be treated. If you are found to be disrespecting other members, you can expect to see yourself out the door. Well Thought out Tactics - Maintain a high level of tactical game play no matter the situation or scenario. Motivated Leaders - We strive for a high degree of competency in our playerbase insofar as leadership goes, as well as pride ourselves on how well our non-leading players will follow orders and conduct themselves in any given mission. We find that alot of times people are scared to step up to the plate and take that Squad Leader position, thinking that people will get angry at them for leading them to death or something. While in reality a squad of Core Tactical members will gladly follow you to the gates of hell if need be. Professionalism - Always exhibit a supreme level of professionalism in and out of the community's official sessions. Quality over Quantity - At Core Tactical we are always looking for the quality of our player base, over our player count. What makes a good Core Tactical member? Core Tactical expects a certain level of quality from members, at all times. You are expected to follow the virtues listed above, as well as abiding by our technical obligations. When it comes to looking over an application, were looking for individuals who generally meet some of the criteria below. -At least 17 years of age. -Good sense of humor. -Friendly respectful and mature. -Teamwork-oriented mindset. -Motivated and dedicated to making the group and our experiences the best they can be. Applying to Core Tactical If you are interested in joining the group you can apply here: http://coretactical.org/apply/ If you would like to directly contact me, you can throw me an email at connorwarman.com@gmail.com or my steam name which is simply put, Connorwarman. Status updates will be listed in this thread over the next..well. As long as we exist.
  16. We recently hit our two month anniversary, we've only been back up and running for a few months - but I think we've all been startled by the success we've had so far. In the short time we've been around we've made some great memories, most of them summarized in my own video, "A Revival". We've had a steady stream of applications coming in, building up our player base with a group of quality dudes all working towards a common goal of tactical fun. We're currently rolling with 20+ active members. Our focus on quality over quantity is still as persistent as ever. We've had plenty of videos surface since the groups revival two months ago, you can keep up to date on our videos here: http://coretactical.org/media/ If you're interested in joining a group of cool, like minded people, shoot us an application at: http://coretactical.org/apply/

    War Chronicles WW2 Modification

Really stoked to see a WW2 modification in the works, I hope all goes well for you guys. That Lee Enfield got me a little hot and heavy...
  18. This may be the wrong place to ask this, but I figured I'd give it a shot. Does anyone know of a way to get ArmA 2 terrains working in ArmA 3 with the proper keys? I've attempted to throw Fallujah and Podagorsk up on my server, with the keys that come with them... but it doesn't appear to be reading them, possibly because they are A2 server keys. Any ideas?

    Sound update ruined this game...

Interesting, I personally found the new sounds to be a major improvement over the old ones.

A few Questions from an Arma noob

Jackal326 pretty much hit the nail on the head. 1.)-One of the great things about ArmA 3 is how modifiable it is. You can play the game any way you want, it's just a matter of downloading the mods you want and throwing a scenario together in the editor, or even easier - just downloading a mission from the steam workshop. 2.)- In regards to servers, most public ArmA 3 servers are running KOTH(King of The Hill) or Wasteland, which are two PvP gametypes. Although, most people agree that to get the best experience out of ArmA you should join a community or unit. You can look through a list of units here: https://units.arma3.com/ I hope this was helpful. :)
  21. Does @CUP_Terrains work with other old ArmA 2 maps like @A3MP? The specific maps i'm referencing are Podagorsk and Fallujah.

    RHS Escalation (AFRF and USAF)

This is pretty cool, can we expect to see this in the next update laxemann?
  24. This program is seriously awesome, it's likely the best program for community repository installation, updating and management out right now, and I'll even go as far as to say it's the best tool of it's sort the ArmA community has ever had. If you aren't already using it, I highly suggest you do.
