  1. Perhaps your Firewall or Antivirus blocks the traffic/program? LavasoftTcpService64.dll is probably part of your Antivirus?

    issue after update 1.68

Michael538, Could your try the following: - Disable any overlay programs (steam/shadowplay/amd gaming evolved etc). - Reverse to an older version of your graphics driver. - Post your DXDIAG info.
  3. what size is your pagefile set to? Windows memory management needs a large enough pagefile, even if you have more than enough physical memory
  4. A kick can be caused for multiple reasons: - Private server (administrator or players vote kick) - Ping is too high - BattleEye problems. Check your rpt files for possible reasons for your kick/disconnects).
  5. What servers are you trying to connect to? Have these servers been updated as well, or aren't they?

Help, weird bug with gunfire sound cant fix

Also verify that you have no audio normalization settings in your audio configuration.

    Sudden sound and FPS lag

As a test; Try lowering your windows sound settings to 44100hz 16bit or number of voices within the game. Did you update the soundcard/chipset drivers recently?
  8. You can check through the Arma3 launcher what the ping is to a server. Anything above 60 could be a problem.
  9. What is the make and model of your modem? Maybe it's located under Denial of Service?
  10. Not for a client, Only if you would be hosting. Just check if there's a setting IP Flood detection and try your connection after changing that setting to off.
  11. Did you turn off the firewall on the router as well? IP Flood Detection has been a problem for Arma connections before. Just as a test btw, (Firewall should be used)
  12. Are you using a cabled network or wifi/mifi, btw?

    issue after update 1.68

Issue 1 is most likely a graphics driver problem. Have you tried CTRL+ALT+DELETE and open the task manager? If opens try to move your mouse to see if the cursor is just hidden or that it is completely locked (eg; move your mouse to a corner and move it so that most likely you hover over the task manager to see if it selects something). For issue 2; could you check if there's anything in your RPT files which might point to the problem (or post the files)?

    Buzzard not taking off

Lower your flaps completely and wait for pull up till you've reach 160. Any attempt sooner will result in crash. This airfield is really is difficult to take-off from, though (crashing is common). Perhaps using the wheelbrakes before starting the run can help (must try that myself)?

Arma 3 has exited in an unusual manner

Could you give more information about your machine? Also, how is your page-file set up?

FPS Drop when Flaring/Firing Tank Cannon

Arma3 is a very CPU dependent game, so that may be 1 problem. Try setting the particles to low, and your max view distance to about 1800-2000?
  17. Most out of memory problems are caused by lack of pagefile space. Please set your pagefile to at least your RAM size or system managed (especially when using large mods).
  18. Could you check in the windows eventlog what the cause of your reboot was? It's possible that the cause of your problems could be hardware related. The sudden change in color of video can point to hardware failure (heat/faulty memory/powerloss).
  19. Good to hear that it might be solved, but could you check if there are rpt files created from your last session? You know you can reposition every UI item? http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=170241067
  20. Is this a Windows or Linux server? Did you check your firewall/router settings for port forwarding and such?
  21. Mynock, Could you check if, in your launcher, the following parameters are unchecked or checked: - Mods - No Splash - Command line parameters And also if possible post the reports and dumps rpt files (which contain more information) In these rpt files you can see all mods and files which are beeing loaded, but the file starts off with the command line which is used. If you, for example, read the Arma3_2017-03-19_14-05-58.rpt file from your previous post, it starts with the executable which is used, followed by the full path including parameters ("C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3\Arma3.exe" -noSplash -nosplash "-mod=C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Arma 3\@CUP_Terrains_Complete;C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Arma 3\@CARRAIGDUBH") Because the is an extra -nosplash option I believe that you've got command-line options added.
  22. Mynock, Have you tried running without mods? In your rpt files I spot @CBA_A3 and @ace. I read back that you did. Can you run again without mods and post the logs afterwards?

    Visual Issue- Grass/Trees

Have you tried setting the terrain and shadow distance on different settings? Do you have the same problem when you play in a windowed arma3?
  24. And....... it's on dev-branch. Did not notice any performance gain, small loss. But it's just out. Need to test more. edit: Framerate seems more stable though. Framerate about the same, depending on Video settings
