  1. Did you turn off the firewall on the router as well? IP Flood Detection has been a problem for Arma connections before. Just as a test btw, (Firewall should be used)
  2. Are you using a cabled network or wifi/mifi, btw?

    issue after update 1.68

Issue 1 is most likely a graphics driver problem. Have you tried CTRL+ALT+DELETE and open the task manager? If opens try to move your mouse to see if the cursor is just hidden or that it is completely locked (eg; move your mouse to a corner and move it so that most likely you hover over the task manager to see if it selects something). For issue 2; could you check if there's anything in your RPT files which might point to the problem (or post the files)?

    Buzzard not taking off

Lower your flaps completely and wait for pull up till you've reach 160. Any attempt sooner will result in crash. This airfield is really is difficult to take-off from, though (crashing is common). Perhaps using the wheelbrakes before starting the run can help (must try that myself)?

Arma 3 has exited in an unusual manner

Could you give more information about your machine? Also, how is your page-file set up?

FPS Drop when Flaring/Firing Tank Cannon

Arma3 is a very CPU dependent game, so that may be 1 problem. Try setting the particles to low, and your max view distance to about 1800-2000?
  7. Most out of memory problems are caused by lack of pagefile space. Please set your pagefile to at least your RAM size or system managed (especially when using large mods).
  8. Could you check in the windows eventlog what the cause of your reboot was? It's possible that the cause of your problems could be hardware related. The sudden change in color of video can point to hardware failure (heat/faulty memory/powerloss).
  9. Good to hear that it might be solved, but could you check if there are rpt files created from your last session? You know you can reposition every UI item? http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=170241067
  10. Is this a Windows or Linux server? Did you check your firewall/router settings for port forwarding and such?
  11. Mynock, Could you check if, in your launcher, the following parameters are unchecked or checked: - Mods - No Splash - Command line parameters And also if possible post the reports and dumps rpt files (which contain more information) In these rpt files you can see all mods and files which are beeing loaded, but the file starts off with the command line which is used. If you, for example, read the Arma3_2017-03-19_14-05-58.rpt file from your previous post, it starts with the executable which is used, followed by the full path including parameters ("C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3\Arma3.exe" -noSplash -nosplash "-mod=C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Arma 3\@CUP_Terrains_Complete;C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Arma 3\@CARRAIGDUBH") Because the is an extra -nosplash option I believe that you've got command-line options added.
  12. Mynock, Have you tried running without mods? In your rpt files I spot @CBA_A3 and @ace. I read back that you did. Can you run again without mods and post the logs afterwards?

    Visual Issue- Grass/Trees

Have you tried setting the terrain and shadow distance on different settings? Do you have the same problem when you play in a windowed arma3?
  14. And....... it's on dev-branch. Did not notice any performance gain, small loss. But it's just out. Need to test more. edit: Framerate seems more stable though. Framerate about the same, depending on Video settings

    Arma 3 Apex Linux Issues

    Are you using all lowercase?

    Arma3 crashes

Just to verify. You deleted your Arma3 profile directory aswell? Can you check your cpu/gpu temps while playing?

    Arma3 crashes

Could you remove the parameter -malloc=system (should not be necessary)? Also is this problem with every mission you play or only with some (it could be the mission has outdated scripts or links)?
  18. Could you post the model of your modem?

    No sound - USB Headset

Mmmm.. When you start Arma3, is your device still the default (alt-tab to check)? Could you check the device manager if there are devices with problems (and perhaps try to update the driver through there, instead of just installing the driver by .exe, with the manufacturers driver, if not done already)?

    No sound - USB Headset

You set the USB audio device to default device for both headset and mic as I understand. Not sure if you tried this already, but could you try the following: Change the setting the of the exclusive modes to on/off (the tab in the audio device properties)? Lowering the audio quality (in the same tab)? Disable VON in Steam Check the Windows System eventlog for errors with drivers Could you run DXdiag and post the results of the Sound tab (with the information on you usb audiodevice)?

    No sound - USB Headset

Did you try using a different USB port? Could be it doesn't make full contact in the slot. From what i see on the "NET" you're not the only one with these problems.

    Weird PC Noises (Please Help)

Your machine builds up static electricity. Depending on where you live, your powercord has a ground/earth. Otherwise you need to ground/earth your machinecase by leading a conductive cable into the ground. If not done properly or defective this could cause noise as well. But listening again to your audio, my guess is it's mechanical. Try the following: Disconnect all internal component and 1 by 1 connect them again. Test start your machine between connecting the various components. This way you'll rule out the problem components.

    Weird PC Noises (Please Help)

Monitor your system with CPU-Z (http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html) and check the temps for your system. Also check your HDD's S.M.A.R.T. logs if available. Is your system grounded properly?
  24. What is the performance you seek? What FPS do you have at the moment? What are your settings in-game and driver? Arma 3 is a mostly CPU intensive game, but can be severly affected by used scripts in user created missions and mods.
