WW4 Extended - Unofficial expansion for WW4 2.5
JdB replied to kenoxite's topic in ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
I do have both installed with the same key. On the 1.99 version the mod runs fine, but not with the new config files. On 1.96 it doesn't run at all with either the new config files or the old ones. Gives me the same error message. -
WW4 Extended - Unofficial expansion for WW4 2.5
JdB replied to kenoxite's topic in ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
I got a preprocessor error and couldn't run the game because of it. That said I only use this installation of 1.96 for Bulldozer since BIS didn't bother to update it to use 1.99 <_< so I have no experience running mods on it. I'll reinstall it and run the 1.96 update again to see if that fixes it. Edit: Still the same. Error message reads: "Preprocessor failed on file config.cpp - error 1." I tried the old cfg from the mod that works in 1.99 and got the same result. -

Looking forward to it. -
If you want to find out for yourself what went wrong just download the pbo at the bottom, compare it to your own version and see what you forgot to add and some other things that can be optimized. -------------------------------------------------------- What I did: I personally always define weapon(s) and then the magazine(s). The config is larger than it needs to be. Instead of defining all weapons/magazines from M16 you should define them from the previous entry and only put in things that need to be different (for firemodes this won't work for some reason so you need to have everything in it everytime). The same goes for ammo which can also be simpler. I didn't look at the tracers so I don't know if those work. You need separate CfgPatches and CfgModels sections like this instead of combining it in CfgPatches: CfgPatches should look like this: class CfgPatches { class 23RD_M16A4 { units[] = { }; weapons[] = { 23RD_M16A4, 556W_GTRACE_30RD_SB, 556W_RTRACE_30RD_SB, 556W_BTRACE_30RD_SB, 556W_BALL_30RD_SB, }; requiredVersion = 1.96; }; }; These are the names of the actual classnames in the config. class CfgModels { class Default {}; class Weapon: Default {}; class m16_proxy: Weapon{}; }; This/These should be named the same as the p3d file(s), but without the extension. http://ofp.gamepark.cz/_hosted/digitalwarfarestudios/download/23RD_M16A4.pbo

Michel Teló - Ai Se Eu Te Pego https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RG5Pnz18q44 I didn't post a link to the "official" video for obvious reasons (there are over 100 reasons) ;) 1:51 yay! :D

You mean "expansions", considering that there were two :P

The answer to all these questions: "Publisher: Ubisoft"

Your folder probably isn't set up to share with everyone.

Both links are about TPP (Pacific), not TTIP (Trans Atlantic) ...

A better final imo than most of the recent finals. Only seven trys in the six finals before this one ...

Most of you may not know this but I actually have psychic abilities and I foresee a very painful day for the french people in the not too distant future. Something to do with a black mass crushing some roosters :P

He means the black bar reappears after alt-tabbing so you'd have to switch resolution every time you alt-tab.

He doesn't have "-nomap" in his startup parameter (99% chance) or Graphics card driver error (1% chance) -
Sorry to bump this thread but how has the upgrade to Windows 10 worked out so far for those actively playing OFP/CWA?
-
Can't find unit init field in CWA's Editor
JdB replied to semiconductor's topic in OFP : MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
Hit "Advanced" in the main screen of the editor, you are using the "Easy" editor right now ;) -
A squad had made a mirror of the FTP, but as far as I know this hasn't been made available to the public. As far as a torrent or similar goes I am having some thoughts with regards to new files that are added. Since I don't want to keep creating separate new torrents for every few files. I don't think a torrent can be changed afterwards though ... Someone else offered to mirror the files for public use but withdrew that offer later on.

The problem with that was that most production lines for current aircraft were shut down a long time ago since at the rate back in the Cold War any currently serving aircraft would be considered outdated and up for replacement in a decade or so. Happened with the C-141, F-86, F-4, F-104, F-111 etc. Except for the F-4 all of those only served a short period of time because there were better aircraft to replace them with or they were relegated to niche roles. The replacements of the F-18/16/15/14 took much longer to come into service than their predecessors did unlike expectations back when the procurement process began. It was a completely different world after 1990 for procurement programs.

Maybe it would be a better investment to point him to the Search box on the site instead of the results that come up when others use it. Just saying ...

As it's being held in England that's no surprise :P Oh, that was close for Fiji ...

A plea from someone with lazy, stubborn friends
JdB replied to SpaceNavy's topic in ARMA 3 - GENERAL
Unless ad revenue paid out to site owners has increased dramatically over the last few years than the ad revenue will be less than half of the monthly cost (if that). I used to work on the OFPR.info site when it was as popular for OFP as Armaholic has been for ArmA. That server only ever cost loads of money, not earned it. Ad companies earn the money as well as websites that rely mainly on pageviews, not downloads, for the majority of their traffic. Free usage of file servers costs money without bringing anything in by itself. -
You mean like how all government controlled media in Russia (over 90%) are saying that the whole of Ukraine minus some eastern bits is full of nazis?
