Hi! I've installed ZEN but I cannot get the related modules to appear in the "modules list". I have ACE last version. In fact I cannot even get ACE related modules to appear. I have tried the option "allow all addons including unofficial ones" with no luck. I'd appreciate any suggestions.

jsrs_soundmod JSRS SOUNDMOD - CE.20.0419
Armagedonas replied to LordJarhead's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Hello and Happy new Year to all!! Thanks so much for the latest updates... Just noticed something I don't know if you are aware.. When cluster rounds impact there are clipping sounds as the explosions happen and they continue long after the impact so in the end you can hear mostly clipping where you should hear the explosion echoes. Sounds like there is an overload of sound generation. Maybe you could have a look at this if not already?? Thanks 🙂 Later Post: Anyway found that this happens only under fire support within zeus interface so nevermind. 🙂 -

Armagedonas replied to acemod's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Hi modders, I get an error when loading Arma with Contact DLC and ACE3 in the main menu screen "No entry 'bin/config.bin/RscDisplayMain/controls/GroupTutorials/Controls/VRTraining.type'" I don't know if you are aware and how much it affects gameplay. Thanks -

ACE3 - A collaborative merger between AGM, CSE, and ACE
Armagedonas replied to acemod's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Hi ACEmod players and devs!! After addressing myself some issues on github like other people that want to contribute to the mods' stability and evolution I would like ask the community a couple of questions. Firstly I know that you are a doing a hobby scripting and thus there is no due date, that is well understood and RESPECTED. But having a look in milestone 3.13.0 I saw open issues from 2017 that is weird in terms of the last update was on March! I suppose it has to do with the "merging is blocked" (but honestly I have no idea what that means!). Is that the case? I also assume that you might expect the new DLC "contact" to be released first so you check for compatibility issues before any ACEMOD update?? If you have solved i.e 70% of the issues isn't that a chance to do an update and transfer the rest for the next milestone so that you keep the community's interest and excitement ongoing? Just a thought.. I don't know how github works please don't get upset, that is why I was hoping for you to shed some light on the subject! (maybe others hope too!) Thanks for your time and this GREAT mod!! -
CBA - Community Base Addons - ARMA 3
Armagedonas replied to vipermaul's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Hi, after arma 3 update to version 1.92 there are issues with the new feature Dynamic Magazines (Proxies). For example for MX 6.5mm (SAND) you cannot load a 6.5mm 30 round BLACK magazine when CBA is loaded but you can do it without the mod. This is the only one I found so far but probably it is happening with other weapons/magazines combinations. Appreciate any help -
Greetings all, Playing as Zeus and zooming out the map makes the wind sound so strong that is unbearable. Have you had a look at this? Cheers

jsrs_soundmod JSRS SOUNDMOD - CE.20.0419
Armagedonas replied to LordJarhead's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
No other mods conflicting and using vanilla maps. I can get zero wind at sea level but at the same time when gaining elevation wind starts sounding aggressively loud. -
jsrs_soundmod JSRS SOUNDMOD - CE.20.0419
Armagedonas replied to LordJarhead's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Can the player somehow tweak some of the sounds levels so that they reach to a personal comfort? For example I find wind way too loud even with it set at zero. With the wind so loud i can't enjoy the rest of your masterpiece sounds and makes me tired after 5 minutes of gameplay :(. Appreciate all the responses -
jsrs_soundmod JSRS SOUNDMOD - CE.20.0419
Armagedonas replied to LordJarhead's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
I don't want to spam but I would really like a response because I support this mod from the very beginning. So when you're shooting and looking in front of the barrel you can hear wizz sounds that are totally out of sync (and should not be heard so close to the barrel) and sometimes ricochets. Plus I think that supersonic cracks aren't audible anymore. Thank you for your feedback! -

Maybe some of those along with ricochetes. I don't think they should be heard next to the barrel. Apart from that, they sound beautiful! -

Noticed today ricochete sounds coming out the front of the barrel when shooting. I'm using the steam workshop for updates. Anyone else? -
Sorry mate, but the laser target control was changed to "#" without notice from bi updates.

Thanks a million for quick answer!

Rangefinders do not display the range after update. Neither portables nor turrets. Please confirm. If positive need to address that to devs ASAP.

soundmod JSRS4 - APEX 1.2
Armagedonas replied to LordJarhead's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Can't thank you enough LJ for your hard work and passion. I post quickly in the effort to include the fix in the 1.4 update if it's possible. After the 1.3 update there is a bolt action cocking sound right after a shot with the Lynx and the M320. Any others plz confirm if you want.- 1214 replies

Initial 1.58 got rid of the stuttering, post spotrep, it's back.
Armagedonas replied to pd3's topic in ARMA 3 - TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem solved* upgraded the machine with a SSD. I will write to another more famous post about this (this thread looks abandoned) cause the performance impact with a HDD is tremendous and more people must know. -

I'm experiencing this stuttering exactly as described above. I think after the hotfix got worse. It happens when there is action between the AI (or the player and the AI). There is a definite micro-freeze (i'd say about 0.1-0.2s) i.e. just before a shot, an explosion, throwing a grenade, a spotting report, or sometimes accessing the inventory or changing weapons. Gives the feeling that it tries too hard to load even the most common actions-sounds and the AI logic as well. My test was in Eden, a fight between 4 (2v2) fireteams in Agia Marina. No mods. A freeze like this in the intense part of the battle occurs every 5-6 seconds. Trying to aim under this circumstances is just a joke. Please don't post a tweak guide, I've tried parameters and malloc with zero results. Anyway these guides are recommended for a FPS increase. I don't mind low FPS (30 is a practical limit for me) but must be smooth enough or else fun is replaced by :angryfire: :banghead: My specs: i7-4710hq (OC'd to 2.8ghz), 16gb ram, GTX860m(4gb vram), WD 1TB SSHD 8GB -
Task Modules/Order of tasks in briefing
Armagedonas replied to KingoftheSandbox's topic in ARMA 3 - MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
Messing around with group links I found a workaround. You group link (not sync) all the modules to the last one in reverse order. So let's say you have 5 modules: Link 4th to 5th, then 3rd to 5th, then 2nd to 5th and finally 1st to 5th with this exact order. I confirmed this working with up to 9 modules (and should probably work above this). However with even numbers there is one misalignment present and it gets more complicated to fix. But since it's always only one I would suggest that you preview, find and adjust the module subjects accordingly. Happy editing! :) -
My GTX860m didn't seem to like nvidia updates at all. Reverted back to v353.62 and these shadow glitches disappeared for good. Seems more stable in general. Definitely sticking with this version! ;)
