revive A3 Wounding System (AIS by Psycho)
Incontinentia replied to Psychobastard's topic in ARMA 3 - MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
Hi Psycho, quick question, is the AI supposed to die after a certain time too? I noticed that they tend to stay alive for ages even when I set the bleedout timer to something like 10 (which I think gives players 20 seconds). Not sure if it's an issue my end or not! Thanks for the awesome script! It's in all my missions.- 914 replies

soundmod JSRS4 - APEX 1.2
Incontinentia replied to LordJarhead's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
What an obnoxious statement. This to me sounds like the best iteration of JSRS so far. I was grinning with glee in a firefight yesterday because it sounded epic.- 1214 replies

CBA - Community Base Addons - ARMA 3
Incontinentia replied to vipermaul's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Just a heads up for anyone using ALiVE, the latest version of this (including the hotfix) messes around with ALiVE missions and can break ALiVE persistence. Looks like it's something to do with the order in which things are loaded. With version 2.2, ALiVE works correctly. The ALiVE devs are working on a fix now. In the meantime, you can revert using WithSix. See this thread. -
soundmod JSRS4 - APEX 1.2
Incontinentia replied to LordJarhead's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
@LordJarhead, just an observation, but the sonic cracks seem to have gone back to being mono and non-directional again, was this intentional? Thanks again for the awesome sounds! This new version sounds amazing. Edit: this is a load of bollocks, it's just the "up close" sonic cracks that are played in stereo which is actually a more realistic feature than being able to tell exactly which side of your head a round is when it's that close. Keep on working magic LJ!- 1214 replies

DynaSound - A sound mod by LAxemann (Release)
Incontinentia replied to laxemann's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
I did run it on the RC and it worked... I think. Certainly sounded different to vanilla (in a good way) but I also think there were bugs, which could be due to unresolved things that have since been fixed. -

ai command dlc C2 -Command And Control
Incontinentia replied to mad_cheese's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Quick and easy request: could you bring back the reset stance option? Can't be bothered to micromanage my AI teammate's stances all the time after using the planner! -
Iraqi-Syrian Conflict Mod is similar (ish) and is getting updated. IWAR also provides an Islamic faction and Massi's Middle Eastern Conflict mod is pretty good too. I also wish this was still going though as it was really good!

I've had spaces in all the loadouts. No worries if it works for you, I'll do a bit more debugging on my end and see if it's something pesky and obvious. Cheers Spyder!

This looks brilliant! Really useful. Just a heads up, I've found the loadout manager sometimes gets a bit funky with multiple folders. And also transferring loadouts from one folder to another doesn't work at the moment. Really enjoying it otherwise though mate! Great work.

You'd be surprised. The idea that you need 70 FPS (or 90 with CV1) is complete rubbish now that asynchonous timewarp has been introduced in Vorpx. Everybody who makes this claim is peddling outdated information. As long as you can get 35fps + and you've got a decent GPU (so your FPS is CPU-bound, as it mostly is in Arma), then you'll be fine with Arma in the rift. This is because the headset remains at 70+FPS and manipulates the image according to where your head has moved. That way, it appears completely smooth and does not make you sick. Mostly when people can't get 35 FPS +, it's either because they have an inadequate CPU (AMD / older intel) or they are playing poorly optimised missions. My FPS are exactly the same in the Rift as they are using a monitor, because for me, Arma is only bottlenecked by my CPU. Meaning, I can get 35+ when playing complex ALiVE missions, and it feels smooth.

Have you actually used the Ambience module on debug on FATA by the way? As in, without any Game Logic stuff? I get 4-5 (can't remember off the top of my head) zones created on that map without having to do anything at all. Granted they are all in the central large urban areas but it's not too unrealistic in a place like that. Apologies if you have, it's just that for me, it works fine on FATA and you seem to be having an absolute nightmare of a time!

ai command dlc C2 -Command And Control
Incontinentia replied to mad_cheese's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
I do think the tutorial will help a lot to get people using the mod but to be honest, what you have is already brilliant! It might not appeal to everyone's playstyle but it's added a huge amount to my ability to command the AI, which is one of the buggiest and most frustrating things in Arma. You've made it easy and pretty much intuitive so massive congratulations. For me, the most used features are the top-down command tablet and suppression, but I think the radial menu is great and really intuitive too and I use it a lot. In all, what you've done is seriously impressive so I think it's just a case of getting a simple, all-encompassing tutorial out there and uptake should rise pretty quickly. Cheers for all your effort! It's made my Arma so much more enjoyable! -

ALiVE - Advanced Light Infantry Virtual Environment 1.0 (GA)
Incontinentia replied to ALiVEmod's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
The insertion behaviour is intentional as far as I know; it's designed for people with fastrope scripts in their missions (like Shuko's excellent one - just search Shuko Fastrope). The helo hovers at the designated altitude, giving you time to deploy ropes and go. Also, never had an issue with arty, so maybe a mod conflict somewhere? Have you tried it vanilla? Same for CAS helicopter... always seemed to work fine (CAS planes I've definitely had issues with!). I've had the issue with helicopter landing with engine on jumping straight back up again, wasn't sure if it was a mod conflict or not! -

Adding a "What colour panties are you wearing?" option...

Also Spyder, I noticed that in the Civilian Interaction menu, the question about hideout locations no longer seems to yield any answer.

No dramas, it's just so some guys don't end up with suppressors if they aren't SF. Can be a bit jarring to see some people having suppressors and lights in a group and not all. Not the end of the world at all if not though!

Hi Spyder, just wondering if there could be any reason why the vehicle spawn wouldn't work on dedicated in the most recent version? Can't get vehicles to spawn in for the life of me, works fine in editor though.

I don't know, the CUP assets are awesome but RHS has some of the best weapons in Arma right now. I do think shifting to just RHS and CUP would be a good shout but dumping RHS isn't such a good call in my opinion.
