  4. HI Folks, Just another thanks - this has to be in the top 5 mods of all time - simply amazing... For those of us who use SP most of the time - it adds randomness to any mission since you really don't know where and when your going to encounter the enemy - vs the traditional scripted missions... It truly brings the environment ALiVE and I'm amazed every time I use it... So - thank you ! I'll be sure to throw a few bucks in your coffer... Any shot you could add "Unsung" factions to the Wiki ? Also some questions about randomness - every time you "start" a mission with ALiVE - are the same exact steps repeated by the AI commanders at the opening sequences of a mission ? If so - do the results vary - meaning the outcomes of battles not influenced by the player have different results each time the mission is run ? How much randomness is there ?     Hi Folks, Most modern submarines have some kind of major sonar array in the bow - similar to the image posted below... Then they just mount an acoustically transparent dome or fairing over the top to streamline the shape of the sub... The area between the array and dome/fairing is a free flood area allowing seawater to cover the hydrophones... While I am intimately familiar with US subs - I would assume it's similar on our Russian counterparts... While it's a beautiful model - how do we use submarines within Arma ?   7. Hi Taro, I believe - if you are using the "custom faction" fields - make sure there are no spaces either in front of or behind the faction name when you type it in (thanks spyder)...     Hi Folks, Related question - I know there is a big update pending and my PC has a meager DSL line - I want to do the update on my terms instead of Steam - when I have enough time to do the download... Is there a way to prevent the update - leaving Arma useable - until I'm ready to download ? I went through the Steam options and I couldn't find anyway to do that... Thanks...   15. Hi Gunter, Quick question - we just download the 6 or 7 files for the full mod on your site - correct ? There is no special version for IF3L ? Also - I noticed the improved weapon stability feature posted in a video on your site... I'd like to use your package however I'd like the ability to disable that feature - is it easy to do ?   16. Hi Folks,Yeah - I think that's an issue with any map with covered hangars - I always test on Stratis and many aircraft blow up when ALiVE places them in hangars... Yep - also concur - best mod ever - thanks so much for your blood, sweat, and tears. Job well done and much appreciated...   19. Hi Folks, Basic question: I've used ALiVE a bunch and I know how to use Arty/Air with that program... Been playing a bunch of vanilla SP missions lately and they have various forms of Arty/Air available - but as a squad leader - I have no idea on how to put them in play...     Squad Commands ?

    Hi Folks, Been trying to figure out how to use all the various squad commands... I'm starting to get the hang of it... Two pretty basic commands seem to be missing from the default menus... When in formation - is there a way to control the distance between squad members ? Spread Out - Close It Up ? It seems as squad leader - I am always on point - is there away to put one or two individuals out in front a bit - on point ? Thanks... Regards, Scott

    Hi... Thanks for the details on your use of the squad commands - taking it all on-board - every bit helps... ;) I loaded C2 and one thing I noticed - which may or may not be different from vanilla (not sure) - is that C2 has a "Vee" formation with the squad leader in the rear and two forward sweeping echelons with the squad leader forming the anchor - seems to be the best formation available for moving through dense jungles when expecting contact to me... I spend the bulk of my time on Unsung... Regards, Scott
