Is there a known issue using CUP mods on a dedicated server? Because I can't get any of my missions using CUP units to let me get in the server. The missions work perfectly using LAN. But when I load them on our dedicated server...it lets me get to the loading screen...then immediately boots me back to the player select screen with a "no entry .model" error at the bottom. To make sure, I reinstalled fresh every CUP mod on the server as well. One mission is using CUP Napa plus vehicles from CUP UK with 3CB. The other mission uses CUP SLA, CUP RACS, and CUP UK vehicles. Both of them...work great on LAN...will not let me in on dedicated. Any advice? -

So my ARMA and ARMA server just updated. Is this the version that breaks ALiVE? Edit: Nevermind..looks like just a Battleye Update. -

All of what you just said is a major reason that our small group uses 3cb as our primary Blufor force in 99% of our campaigns. Glad to see CUP is utilizing a similar philosophy. -

Great work icebreakr. Also, I'm glad to see your units armed with more modern and less future weapons for ease of use with contemporary mods. I did have a question...I only saw a few factions that had cfg groups with most showing up in individual unit placement. Will you ultimately be grouping all of your factions so they can be used with ALiVE? -

Nice. Good to hear about potentially dropping a dependency. Needing CUP, Massi, and RHS mods can be daunting when trying to get your group to join a server. Yeah, honestly this mod could contain about 20 different factions considering how broad the conflict has gotten. Iranian Army, Hezbollah, FSA, YPG, US and Russian Spec Ops, etc. It has definitely become a proxy war. Is there a Blufor Free Syrian Army faction by chance? -

UPDATED 3/23/2016: Some substantial changes/improvements to the mission. New features added include: -Multiple FOBs with Virtual Arsenals, Vehicle Spawners, Troop Spawners -Multi-Respawn menu upon death -Built in Persistence for players who have ALiVE War Room accounts -Built in Headless Client Support. As long as your Headless Client is set up correctly, should automatically connect to the mission server. -Added VCOM AI Driving script: No mod needed, much improved Driving ability by the AI -Added my personal Sound pack....ambient authentic crowd chatter, Afghan news broadcasts, music, BBC news broadcasts, Insurgent propoganda, and more. -Added one mod dependency (ARP2 Objects) to allow for more realistic and fleshed out bases/hideouts/installations. -

Yup, saw this too. I DO like the areas that are left blank and I think you should keep some of those areas icebreakr to allow mission makers to quickly drop in our own custom compositions as needed so thanks for that. This is a gorgeous map and a welcome change of pace from the 754,875 middle eastern maps that are being released. -
FWIW, we've been using Pooter's ASR in our Taliban Sangin campaign to great effect. The enemy does a great job of looking for cover and flanking. Very good stuff. If I had one issue it might be that sometimes the AI seems to go brain dead while hiding in a building...staring at a wall instead of the doorway or entranceway to protect itself. That's probably my only gripe, but it doesn't happen all the time. It's a great enhancement AI for our coop nights.

Hey Sparfell, I noticed that your African units don't have any group configs in the editor, only individual. Any chance of creating infantry and motorized groups so they can be used with ALiVE? Nice looking units too by the way, nice work!

I don't think there is a vanilla African civilian faction. Just Greek (Altis) Civs

Very nice. African factions were the missing piece to the CUP puzzle. Now you can have relevant Opfors for European, Middle East, and African campaigns. Well done.

Is this mod still functional post-Eden update? I like the idea of a universal armor value when combining vanilla style armor with RHS configured armor. Do they still "play nicely together" using RAM?

So, outside of a Main battle tank....we should have assets for every other area of a British force (infantry, apc, IFVs, Helos)? Excited to combine this CUP BAF force with my existing 3cb forces in our missions! -

I use this map with my British Steel ALiVE mission. There are issues using it with CUP terrains on a dedi server. However, it works flawlessly for our group on dedi using AllinArma. Just FYI. This is probably my favorite map in ARMA.

Hey fellas, I had a question regarding the static weapons, specifically the mortar. When I place down a pre set-up mortar and play as that unit, I can use it, disassemble it, move it, etc. But when I attempt to grab the pieces of a mortar from a vehicle or supply box...piece by piece, I see no option to assemble the mortar. I tried putting the items on the ground, use the mousewheel, ACE interaction menu,etc What is it that I'm missing?

R3vo, I know we can script it... But do you have the ability to add a box that could be checked on a vehicle attribute screen to play a 3D sound? Essentially like hearing a radio while driving around? That would be a nifty addition. Maybe even include a drop down for the "trigger" sounds similar to the effects box on a trigger? Just thinking out loud.

FYI, Now that the African and Middle Eastern packs are pretty healthy, my focus will turn towards putting out an initial Eastern European Pack, as well as creating some ambient US and Russian FOB radio loops (current world news, sports, etc.) -

Hey fellas, Quick question to any and all. Will the upcoming British faction addition to CUP include LHD-ready assets? (i.e. Harriers with VTOL capability, Helicopters with folded propellers capability?) Was wanting to run some Royal Marine Ops with the WASP LHD and didn't know if there would be alternate British Configs once the BAF faction is added. Thanks in advance. Love the work so far!
