  1. Glad you like them Wang. I've also got African made factions using CUP only as well for anyone who wants to expand their CUP scenarios to Africa. 6 factions in total, including 2 separate Civilian factions...one Western/Christian based, the other Eastern/Muslim based. Only requirement is CUP.

  3. Hey guys, I'm still tweaking/polishing my next update but here is a quick preview of what to expect from my Tanoa pack of sounds.
  4. It would be placed directly inside the mission folder itself so you wouldn't run it as a mod. I'm really happy with the quality of the sounds I have for my Tanoa pack. I hope to have an update out by next week.

  7. @Estron Yes, I've got one partially done. Need to find a few more sounds to my liking then I'll release it. I've also got a Asian and Russian/Eastern European sound pack in the works. Been working on other things and my sounds kind of took a backseat for a bit.

  10. Mission Updated. I dropped a ton of dependencies and added CUP and my own Custom Takistan Civlian CUP faction as well. All mods (except 3CB mods) are available on Steam Workshop. I also added custom billboards, custom sounds, and custom images throughout the campaign. I hope you enjoy the update.
  11. Well put me in the "Great to have JBAD included!" camp. Really guys...outstanding addition and it is OUTSTANDING to have fully functioning/enterable military buildings on Takistan, Chernarus, etc. Thank you so much for this!

    Vcom AI V2.0 - AI Overhaul

    This is another reason why systems like ALiVE are so invaluable. By virtualizing profiles/groups that are well outside the player's current area...you save gobs and gobs of FPS. Trying to run a mission with 100-200 fully realized and active AI is going to cause a slideshow no matter how powerful your rig is. So even though you technically may have 100s of foot troops and dozens of vehicles all over the map...at any one time you only have a small zone that actually has "real" troops spawned in. We are running a campaign on our dedi with VCOM and ALiVE. Had several engagements last night with 50-60 Taliban, vehicles, and 20-30 civs in an area and most of our group's FPS stayed above 50 FPS the entire session. It's all about optimization of the mission and making sure you have a nice balance of how many profiles/units are "in the real world" at a time. Genesis's latest version of VCOM really improved the delay and FPS drop from the previous version of VCOM. Works outstanding and is by far the best AI mod we've used.
  15. Thats on the RHS end. You'd have to ask them. Just make sure you set ind friendly to opfor when using them and you're good.

    1. Thanks for the nifty addon. 2. Thanks for the convenience of a Steam Workshop download. 3. I wanted to ask if you planned on doing a steam download for your Afghan forces as well (although I know you have many more dependencies on that faction) Great stuff all the way around fin.

    Project OPFOR

    Good stuff keeway, quick heads up on a bug.... Both the Opfor and IND Afghan Militia have some guys who are spawning in with night vision goggles. May just need to tweak your randomization script. very nice addons. I would suggest adding some mortar teams to the insurgent factions if feasible for a little added artillery flavor.
  20. Quick question... I know that the Nimitz will automatically detect some of the older "flight crew" mods. What about CUP? or RHS? I know that CUP now has a full complement of Ship crew. Will the Nimitz automatically use those assets when using CUP or a similar mod and..if not...how can we get those Crew models to replace the vanilla models when we choose to "populate deck"?

    Latest version is outstanding. Stress tested the hell out of it last night on our dedicated server. Large scale firefights all night and FPS was solid, menu delay was nonexistent. Awesome stuff.
  22. Heads up Eggbeast, I just tried using the module and placing the M113 Engineer vehicles down and I wasn't able to get any options to rearm/refuel/repair vehicles and/or aircraft in the area. I tried syncing the module directly to the vehicles as well to no avail. Is there something else I need to do?
  23. Great stuff fellas. As a mission maker, I have a question... How do I rearm vehicles and aircraft/helos? I didn't see any logistics vehicles in the mod and, re: facilities, I only saw a fuel dump and repair hangar available. Is there an equivalent rearming building/vehicle I can use?
  24. Hey fellas, Due to the awesomeness that is the ALiVE Orbatron, I've been on a faction config tear. I figured I would post them in this thread for others if they wish to use them. My goal was to create a wider array of factions/Opfors, etc. utilizing most of the "Big" mods out there (CUP, RHS, SMA, etc.) I haven't reskinned anything, modeled anything, etc...I simply used configs to create "missing" factions and to enhance current ones. I'll update this as I create new ones. All credit goes to all of the wonderful mod makers out there and to the ALiVE team for creating such a game changing tool in the Orbat Creator. Note: All factions will work in both Zeus and with ALiVE. African Regime: A well equipped African Army ruled by a vicious dictator.
