you can disagree all your want but old AMD CPU which have very little single core performance does not do well and that just a repeatable fact. search for yourself and again dont compare other games to arma, other games dont even come close to what arma can and has been doing for over a decade. -

your cpu is garbage. only amd worth playing with is the new ryzen cpu. also dont compare arma to witcher, arma is a whole another 10 levels above any RPG game. sorry but it looks like you will have to buy a whole new CPU and motherboard if you really want to play arma. -

the a10 in arma only uses HE? if so cant you use a combination load of he and ap? that way you can penetrate APC but not tanks using AP ammo? in arma 2 the cobra had a combination load for ammo i think. if not maybe someone could create a script to fire 1 AP round after ever 4/5 HE rounds. -

30mm cant destroy tanks at all even the T62 is immune from all sides but the very bottom. which is not a possible shoot to make anyway... -

I think the white ERA bricks are too white and new looking = boring... I would make it have shades of grey... look at how people who make scale models paint their projects.the point of weathering is to add character and too tell a story. here are some examples of scale model weathering adding layers on top of layers to get a realistic effect -

what are you using audacity? you could try having multiple tracks of the same sound and offset them forward ever so slightly I think that will create a more bassy sound after adjusting the tempo. I dont really know ive never tried to make engine sounds -

find some youtube videos and rip them. change the EQ very slightly (to avoid copyright issues) make sure you have good headphones too. -

ive made a glock 17 gen 3 and gen 2, the glock 19 and glock 18 would be fairly simple to create, the differences between glock variants is so fairly small. the 45 cal version is only 1.5 mm wider or so. gen 2 and 3 only have a differences like the frame and a extractor. I find that gen 1 and 4 make little sense in making because the 1st gen are fairly rare and quickly replaced by gen 2 which is the most popular followed by the gen 3, the gen 4 only has a small few differences which set it apart from the gen 3 thing which make no gameplay difference and is really not worth putting effort in. honestly the glock 17 and 19 look pretty similar only thing which has to be done would be to cut the bottom of the frame a little and shorten the slide and frame front section which is doable, whether this is really important to the player I cant really see value in going through the trouble of have between a slightly shorter pistol barrel while having only 15 rounds or having the full sized glock which holds 17 rounds I think most people would choose the Glock 17 in arma, I know I would. currently I have the glock 17, 18 gen 2 and 3 , if I chose to make the glock 40 and 45 caliber version ( sorry only military service weapons no 380 or 357 baby stubby pistols) it would be a simple retexure and a insignificant scale increase in the X axis I think that is if I really think that the 1.5mm in extra thichness is really worth it, I am reserving my models for Arma 4 :D- 16550 replies

you need to point yourself in the direction of the enemy... the missile will only fly towards a target if its in the trucks front sector. -

well i justed died when my ejection seat detached from me at 1200km/h slamming in to my back, the kh25 is non selectable in firemode, ejection seat does not right itself when ejecting, especially upside down. pilot is in the back of the seat when he ejects and here is a video on how it should work.

I think that Large ships are better in support roles (base,artillery/ missile support) . I am fine with having none movable large ships as I dont think sea warfare with weapons that can fire 10km plus against other ships is fun or really worth the time to implement to any reasonable fidelity. plus the current arma maps are too small for such environments and I dont think anyone would be having fun driving such a large vessel. I think that small gunboats, hovercraft, landingships/ crafts and maybe even submarines of decent size / or corvettes such as this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nanuchka-class_corvette would be acceptable. and doesnt roadlod let you walk on things already? I dont know how it works on moving objects but it would be cool to move around on a large landing ship firing at the beach you are invading. But again this is the limitations with Arma 3 hopefully arma 4 with the enfusion engine that apparently from what ive heard allows for almost totally open scripting which means that est 95% of the game is not hardcoded, and I can only pray that the new enfusion engine has parallel multithreading which allows all the cores to do any task the program needs. then we might see a strong possibility of having a real navy yet still somewhat arcady because I dont belive that anyone wants to be crew member out of 30 which has a single boring role. I do not think that it would attract many new customers as most "gamers" just want to pew pew without thought and hate the idea of learning or thinking. just look at what most people play, counter strike, battlefield, overwatch you get the idea... we are a niche player base even more segregated then others besides maybe gmod which is just cancer now... in arma we have people who play Life (which i despise, if you want to play gta play gta, arma was never made for that,) then you Dayz, wasteland, king of the hill. you get the idea, the people who play arma for the military gameplay (milsim, realism , just general combat) is not the only group sadly it is the majority and the most loyal thats all I know.

s300 is too big for arma... you can try pooks sam but they always hit regardless so it makes flying up aganist them pointless -
hmm my bad. I was also thinking about a script someone could make to simulate high altitude environments for helicopters by reducing power or collective, would add some extra challenge for helicopter pilots maybe in arma 4 with the new enfusion engine(please devs if you are watching from heaven also known as BIS studios make the enfusion engine modern which allows for parallel multi-threading) ... one can dream.

what do you mean its impossible. i do it all the time especially with cargo helicopters which are overloaded, the soviets did rolling takeoff and landings all the time with the Mi24 and the mi8 in Afghanistan. also ive seen helicopters in real life on civilian airports takeoff from the aprons/ ramps or whatever you want to call them, some airports do in fact have helipads, but I have also seen helicopters use taxiways to get to the runway both in departure and arrival.

and who is to say there wont be a A4... I doubt that BIS will not make another Arma game, after all its their main game and its what BIS is known for. also they have the enfusion engine which they said will be uses in every future installment.

hmmm honestly for terrain the only thing I want is 100 x 100 km maps (maybe 200x200) instead of a globe because even in arma 3 40 x 40 maps it takes about 10 min to reach a target on the other side with a bomber traveling at 500 to 600 km/h. 2nd possibility, to have caves, under ground structure, tunnels ect. 3rd is to have Rivers and lakes, the rivers should be just like VBS or L4d2 stream level where the water looks like its moving and it flows around rocks. plus the rivers and lakes are not tied with the sea level height meaning that you could make a dam or a mountain lake. I think that is something that we really need and what arma would benefit from. another plus would be to have limited terrain destruction.
