Dezrook 10 Posted July 23, 2010 Even though my cpu is crap and everything is on lowest settings, something refuses to work. All my bushes are red, blue, pink, white, random crayola colors. And when I get in a Helo, the dust is a mass of retardation, mostly consisting of a cloud shape, with a white center and randomly colord outlines. Sometimes its black and red. I got this game today, and if this problem stays, I might get angrey. Im sure people have asked this before, but HOW THE CRAP DO I FIX IT? I bought it from a store, bestbuy to be exact, and ill find out my cpu spekifikations if needed. ---------- Post added at 03:41 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:40 AM ---------- And occasionly the ground likes to run away, sorry for the double post. no use for a name 0 Posted July 23, 2010 It'd be best to list your system specs and arma2 version
Dezrook 10 Posted July 23, 2010 Ok, just where do I find them at though? I only use this cpu for the minimal gaming power it has. And all I know, is I have Arma 2 and Arma Operation Arrowhead. I got Combined Opperations today, and I honostly didnt get it to yell at or try to fix myself.
WillaCHilla 10 Posted July 23, 2010 system specs: Everest e.g. arma²-version: You will get information about this at your main-menu if you start the game arma²-settings: Ingame under graphic-options or at "Documents/arma2/arma2(OA).cfg"
Geordie 0 Posted July 23, 2010 It sounds like a VGA issue, as stated get your specs up, mainly your graphics card for that particular issue
L3TUC3 32 Posted July 23, 2010 It sounds like a VGA issue, as stated get your specs up, mainly your graphics card for that particular issue Yup. Either your GPU isn't up to snuff, it's drivers are outdated or it's plain broken.
Simon C 0 Posted July 23, 2010 Sounds like more of a graphic card issue than a CPU issue, what are your system specs?
W0lle 1052 Posted July 23, 2010 You're funny you know that? You come here and complain about your issues, tell us that you get angry if you can't fix it (which I guess no one bothers about anyway) but fail to tell us what hardware you try to run the game with. If you bought the game knowing that you don't even meet the minimum requirements then it's your very own fault. Full hardware specs please, otherwise no one can and will help you here. The cpu I put this game on met the req, I checked that one, but this problem occured. Then I moved it to this one to see if it fixed it, and no. I dont know the stuff for this because im not a coumputer nerd who knows everything for my computer, and that this isint mine, its my parents. And I didnt know if there was a patch or a easy fix I didnt know about, im not trying to start a argument, but just because I come and complain about it, dosent automaticlly its a hardware problem. For all I know my disk could just be scratched somehow.
Dezrook 10 Posted July 25, 2010 I know im a piece of crap for double posting and bumping and all kinds of horrible things, but Im pretty sure these are my specs on THIS coumputer. Microsoft windows XP service pack 3 Intel Pentium D CPU 3.00 GHz RAM: 2047 MB Display Card: NVIDIA GeForce 7300 LE(506 MB) All settings on options are on lowest, no dust textures, sometimes ground runs away, poop bush textures, and no sky. And trees and rocks are abnormally shiny.
Tankbuster 1747 Posted July 25, 2010 Hmmm. Usually, user who refuse to say what their system specs are have a rubbish PC. However, there is a fix that works every time. Take this, spend about £600 (your local currency may vary) on a decent PC, then come back and try it again.
NsurgNt 3 Posted July 25, 2010 !m running the new demo at about 23 fps, i have a p4 3.2 ht single core,an nvidia geforce 9600gt video card and a gig of ram on an old Dell XPS gen3 desktop. Yeah its lame but I can still play ArmA1 and run the OA demo and have fun playing it. Dont worry bout your system specs dude, We cant help unless we know what they are. Sounds like a video card or driver issue. Btw im still running XP and my system boots up with 12 processes at startup.

Placebo 29 Posted July 25, 2010 Moved to the right forum, please look where you're posting when starting a new thread. There are minimum specs listed on the box and on the websites, if your laptop doesn't match them the game won't work.
