Cabide 10 Posted July 6, 2010 I was so hapie playing arma2 arrowhead, wen after 9 missions the campaign just ended  The arrowhead expansion is just amasing, but i think that you guys need too make the campaign more extensive and more entusiastic, making more use of the great new units/weapons and creating a good story for the campaign. I just havo to say that i was so desappointed with the new expansion ARROWHEAD, i finished the campaign in 1 day:o DESAPpOINTED WANT MORE!!!

TechnoTerrorist303 10 Posted July 6, 2010 DESAPpOINTED WANT MORE!!! You have a sandbox milsim with practically unlimited possibilities. How can you want more?
CarlGustaffa 4 Posted July 6, 2010 I realize the campaign nowadays (compared to OFP and expansions) is just (okay, in a damned good way I must admit) showcasing the new possibilities, but I can't say I liked being put in charge of several heavy vehicles in a lengthy mission (with a time limit even) as early as it did. There was no progression going on, which might not be a good idea for new players. Next time, maybe the tutorial part can be included as part of the campaign, where you actually play with the characters and teams you will be together with, or lead. Seasoned players who don't like tutorials, could maybe skip this part, or maybe choose to play only what he is interested in learning. I always do the tutorials though, no matter how "boring". That being said, I really enjoyed the campaign, although obviously not as deep (wrt character development) as the OFP campaigns. Too small (it will never be enough), but I kinda expected that. no use for a name 0 Posted July 6, 2010 Not to mention it's an EXPANSION PACK; there's very few expansions that give a full 8-hour SP campaign or whatever for less money. Plus new weapons, vehicles, terrain, improvements, etc. etc. etc. Hell the "campaign" for CoD4 was what...4 hours? And that game cost $60 when it came out lol Oh, and www.OFPEC.com or www.Armaholic.com will give you more...for FREE
Cabide 10 Posted July 6, 2010 This game is about editor and MP... I want to play tha game, not make it. (editor).:butbut:
giuppo 1 Posted July 6, 2010 I want to play tha game, not make it. (editor).:butbut: I agree. STOP to tell Arma is just for Multi and editor! If not it wouldn't have a singleplayer mode. It's a game, not a tool for new developpers!
ProfTournesol 956 Posted July 6, 2010 I agree.STOP to tell Arma is just for Multi and editor! If not it wouldn't have a singleplayer mode. It's a game, not a tool for new developpers! Well, it is a game AND a toolbox, that's why it is successful. But the SP gaming part is less developed as it used to be in the old days.
Flash Thunder 10 Posted July 7, 2010 @Cabide True dat but it was also very well done. I would rather have a smaller campaign thats good quality then a long shitty campaign. Quality over quantity remember theres also scenario missions, and you can easily make missions like them in the editor If I can do it you can do it (im no scripter or programmer)
Montanaro 0 Posted July 7, 2010 I have a shitload of fun just placing groups in fields, and having them charge a fortified line. Not hard to make but quite fun.
tsb247 0 Posted July 7, 2010 This game is about editor and MP... This is something I get tired of hearing here. I love the editor just like everyone else, and MP is a blast, but some people just prefer to play the campaign. Not everyone has aspirations of building the game to suit their needs. I guess I don't like the, "Just fix it yourself," response that I sometimes see (not pointing to you in particular). I know my way around the editor fairly well (well... Always learning), but sometimes I see things that BIS should address on their own as well. As for the campaign, I was disappointed too because I just wanted it to keep going. It was lots of fun! I do wish they had more infantry and spec-ops missions though. Those are my favorite!

You obviously knew what you were getting with this game, so why buy it, or why complain about it? The game has never really been marketed for it campaign and theatrics. Imperator[TFD] 444 Posted July 7, 2010 Next time, maybe the tutorial part can be included as part of the campaign, Gah, personally I hate it when games do this as it makes replaying those missions a pain. Unless of course they have an option to skip those boring parts.
schurem 0 Posted July 7, 2010 I think BiS could make a nice buck selling SP content as DLC. Heck they might even "sponsor" community made content in some way.
