One year is not long to wait for something that we are working on for free, and which you will be downloading for free.

As for the suggestions for other projects, we've already stated what project we will be doing next, so there is no point in suggesting/hinting/researching something else for us to do ;)

It's a (reworked) port, so it will contain roughly the same things as the ArmA1 release, including the map, updated units etc. Without the ArmA1 mini-campaign though, however with Multiplayer missions that do roughly the same things, but with more efficient use of resources (the first mission of the ArmA1 mini-campaign was a performance nightmare for a lot of people).

hey guys Mikebart has released his new island with his new objects and vegitation it looks realy nice and smooth...it reminds me a little bit on the CEAN-mod screens and the normandie map from ofp1

Our coder Canukausiuka doesn't have time to look into it, the rest of our members know hardly anything about coding. We have no idea when we'll get it working again. Right now, we're trying to find out when the problem popped up (made more difficult because it's not just a problem on our end, but a problem on our end conflicting with an ArmA2 patch).

The latest beta-patch for ArmA2 seems to have solved the issue (it was related to the vehicles), the mod is working again. It was working in Combined Operations the whole time, which makes it weird. Now we can only hope that BIS won't change it back in the next version of the patch :butbut:

We never make any exact statements about the completion-level of a project, as that leads to people thinking "oh, so it's coming out soon", followed by disappoint. For example we can say that there is 10% left to do, but that can take 2 weeks or 9 months. As always, it's "done when it's done".

The only release date we will ever give is found in many places, including the opening post of this topic:

"The release date is "When it's done". Any questions regarding the release date will be ignored."

From [another thread]:

Seems time is coming.

We make team-builds from basically the very first work (mostly only coding and scripting using BIS units) to the version that is released. That we have a team-build says nothing, since we always have a team-build and interim updates to it that later merge into the new team-build.
