Alex72 1 Posted April 18, 2010 (edited) I've got a network issue, just confirmed that it was ACE causing it.When I'm hosting my own, non-dedicated, local game and other players fire anti-tank missiles my whole internet connection dies for a moment (TS and Xfire lose connection and wont reconnect until I close and re-open them). It also happens when I try to join someone else's hosted server and also when another player sends a fire order with R3F's Artillery mod on my server. Any ideas anyone? Good find wich should be properly reported at the ACE issue tracker. Now it needs for you to register but thats just a good thing because you can go there and check what other tickets are filed and vote for them as well so the ACE team sees if a problem is big or not. Just remember to do this the correct way though so there are no doubts from the ACE team side. So remove all other addons and be sure its ACE causing the problem (maybe CBA can do this also?). Also when reporting a ticket make it short, easy to read and down to the point so the ACE team can easily check it. Preferably make an example mission so they can just download it and test it instantly (you can upload an example mission straight to your own bug report from your desktop). The example mission could be with a unit having the anti-tank missile in question in his inventory. Sorry for little messy post but its very early here. :) Good luck. sickboy 13 Posted April 18, 2010 Would be nice if there was easier way to tell whether or not they need to be updated (stating whether or not they have been updated on the "new version" announcement post would be a good start).The userconfig version is only increased when there is an actual change. IE: F3 is a at gunner and have medsupplys, F5 is a rifleman and have used all his medsupplys and is wounded. F8 is corpsman but engaged in another AI. Alex72 1 Posted April 18, 2010 Yes you can order any AI that carries bandages, morphine, ephine to heal anyone when using ACE injury module. Like usual just select the unit and then press "6" (action menu for the AI) and then if not in that menu chose "MORE" and then you see name(s). Chose the name and the AI will heal him (unless in DANGER mode wich it will take longer time before healing begins). I think i even seen AI's heal eachother without me saying squat. ACE is loaded like normal when using CAA1 (ArmA1 islands & gear). But you have to use a launcher since the modline will be very long. However, whenever i play on a server running ACE 2, it says i need to update to version v1.0.10.336 or something like that. I cannot find v1.0.10.336 anywhere and its really annoying me. Kramxel 10 Posted April 18, 2010 Just tried out the new version, and I am proud to report that the problems I had with the beta version are now inexistent. My problem was with the aiming system, which prevented from being accurate at close ranges... I had a really hard time hitting targets at 50m... Most of the major components are in their own .pbos, but deleting one might just bring everything crashing down around your ears. Doesn't the reduced accuracy compensate? SaOk 112 Posted April 18, 2010 The accuracy is already low and I like it. But I cant command my group well when the AI can see very long which make them really unresponsive to follow you anywhere. In large battles you just need to clear the all enemies in big radius before the squad members want to obey the orders again.
