Since Sled is creating an island I don't see why it wouldn't apply to him (as long as due credits are provided) ... from my POV a permission would only be needed if he wanted to port it over for ArmA2.

Man, excellent scenario. I got your immagination and allready can't wait to play in such a dark uncalmed atmosphere. Really great idea you got there. !

you finished a whole 100km2 map in a week? wow, thats fast! you said the quality would be that so we get good FPS?

in that latest batch of screenies it looks like it has the arma2 style sky bloom. have you ported the map over, or is that photoshopped?

Just a question of the arma-settings :P you will see it when the mod is released^^

To be honest, i had some premodded location on my pc about 3 years... I always played with idea to make a Conspiracies for ArmA^^ 30% had been done so far I just added some details and Prypjat and the other stuff like the powerplant and a few villages... The idea and some concepts has always been there^^

The people who know my DXDLL config from the last 3 parts know what i am talking about^^

Update: The "My own home" function works fine now... So will have a little house and a barn. In the barn you will have some crates... If you complete missions you can get more ammo, weapons, utilities like binoculars, nvgoggles or even new cars. In the house you can sleep. While the normal sleeping where you can sleep everywhere you want skips the time for 4 hours, the sleep in the house make sure you are completly healed from your wounds, but the time skips for 6 hours in the house.

Further i just completed a first trader and his scripts... you can accept missions, can swap your equipment for another one, and ask for rumors... Working everything fine so far!

a few questions about the mod, i assume you are not gonna model all the weapons yourself so when you are using weapons from different sources will you be "balancing" them in relation to each other, for example so that a pistol wont have way more recoil then the heavy machine gun...etc

will you be including some background music during the mission itself for extra athmosphere?

the weapons I will use and some I will create will be balanced by me or the addonmaker itself. Yes, new music is also included and not less. =) I am working on a REAL Trailer as you guys know it from me^^ Should be released soon. There you will find some new infos about the story!

Hm, is it just me or is feedback in general getting very rare nowadays?

Well 4 pages in about 10 days isn't that bad, I guess we are waiting to play a small demo perhaps :p .

i think you are not getting a huge response because the developement of this mod is still in its arma 1 fase and many people have already switched over to arma 2

I just asked me where are all the real conspiracies-fans? some names I remember from the first 3 parts... Just saw a few here... Anyway the mod will definitly completed! I just researched 2 of the NEVER RELEASED conspiracies parts... Maybe this could be some DLC for the main-mod later... I mean (Conspiracies Never Ending Fear and Conspiracies The Resurrection)

A demo... well i need a good filehoster like armaholic.com... i wish foxhound will respond to my question if he will host the BAC stuff again... was a very good coop...

Hi Sled,

I didn't read all the 5 pages of post, but I wonder how the lag is in a large city like that will be. I watched your teaser and I was really impressed by the size of that city ....but I cannot do otherwise than shaking of fear of a serious lag.

So how it goes on that side? I have a beast for computer and I can crunch a good amount of poly ... but I am curious.

My plan is not to make repeatable missions, but you can unlock further missions when completing some others... Repeatable missions were impossible because you always get rewards, you cannot get 5 cars of one type... I am planning 5 carswhich can be used by the player... You only get them with completing missions or quests. Well the characters were done so far... Its only the mission and questdesigning left... If this is done the testing phase comes and if everything went fine, the mod will be released... I talked to someone, and I ask if he wanted an interview about the mod, and yes... you will see it in some minutes in our forums!

About the lag... I dont recognized any lags in town... The FPS is sometimes better than in the real dark woods...
