You can install the mod now, I hope the rsync servers will be able to keep up.

Mirror providers were sent information and downloaded ACE, but non of them have added their site to the biki or replied yet :S

First synchronize.

ACE is the core Mod. ACEX has the vehicles, weapons, units. Basically all the extra stuff. If you just want the core ACE Mod then you just use ACE2. If you want the extras, you need to use ACE2 and ACEX.

The A.C.E. Package for ArmA 2 consists out of 3 building blocks:

* CBA: Community Base Addons

* ACE: Core

* ACEX: eXtras

CBA and ACE are a requirement, while ACEX is an optional expansion pack.

This way, we hope to support our users who have requested smaller mod size, and ability to concentrate on their type of units/vehicles/weapons for countries they like to play with/against.

Thanks for the praise, and not sure how serious we should take it, but just to be 100% clear to the public: We dont like to see ourselves as "the Mod to end all Other mods", we really hate that title, because it comes across hostile, unfriendly, non cooperative, offensive, etc. etc.

We are proud of our works, but there's loads and loads of other great stuff out there! :)

But seriously, just try it out. Its really, very easy once you set it up.
