ralphwiggum 6 Posted March 30, 2002 I remember that one of Queen Mom's friend said she would break many hearts.(She was really sought after by guys back at her age). Also, her husband propsed her 4 times AFAIK. well, as i see it, she had that 'good grandma' image, and was popular that way. my condolences for Queen mom and Queen Elizabeth for her recent losses
KingBeast 0 Posted March 30, 2002 Would seem the Royals are dropping like flies
Die Alive 0 Posted March 30, 2002 I predicted in this thread that she would die on March 21, 2004. Â I was off by a 2 years and a week +/- a few days. -=Die Alive=-
DarkLight 0 Posted March 30, 2002 Queen who? J/k, yeah it's pretty sad but ... death'll come take each one of us and you'll always need to be prepared to die or to lose someone. It doesn't matter if you like it or not, it'll happen one day..........be prepared..... This might sound a bit freaky but it's the truth!!!

Hilandor 1 Posted March 30, 2002 yes im sure she will be missed, just hearing on the news that she was the only royal that stayed in london during the war, saying that if the ordinary citizen can then she can. I think thats why she was a big hit with the older folks sad day indeed tho =[[[

Warin 0 Posted March 30, 2002 Rest in Peace, Queen Mum. In these days of the tabloid press sensationalizing everything royal, I think it's hard to find someone as respected and loved as she was. And I am sure she'll be missed by many. There'll never be another like her....
InRange 1 Posted March 30, 2002 *takes off his hat* She's been through 2 world wars, a Russian revolution that changed the world and a whole lot more. Rest in peace.
madmike 0 Posted March 30, 2002 I dont mena to be rude, but I will feel sorry for the soldiers on royal duties. I remember talking to the Welsh Guards when they were on it a few years back and they said they practise for it but for the real thing they have to stand by the coffin when it goes in its hole for 3 hours at attention. They said they would all hae to buy incontenance pads becuase the hole thing lasts more than 9 hours. If they dont eat or drink, they faint and if they do they shit or piss them selves. Anyway its sad news just like when Dianna died, I can still remember that day perfectly
