You're Fav one-liner

What was your favorite line of dialog in the SP campaign?

I liked the one at the Checkpoint in Manhattan:

".......yes sir yes sir!.......Raaaaaambo!"

You can just imagine some smartass grunt doing that.

"You got that Marine? Now stand the FUCK down."

Even though it was said by a crappy voice actor, I liked the line. Made me smile at such an inappropriate time for smiling. :p

When Razor team is underway to the first checkpoint in Pusta.

Rodriguez says "Give me a minute, my undies are chopping me in two"..

Yup, can't let the little ones play anymore like they could in OFP. Though come to think of it, when they saw the car accident that the AI made with all the bloody bodies around (some crawling), that scared em'.

My fav line was the reference to Aliens at the beginning on the carrier.

The undies one is quite funny, but the best by far is the reference to the film "aliens" right at the start of manhattan on the carrier during the briefing! "any questions" "how do I get out of this chickenshit outfit?" "you secure that shit Hudson!!"

"Buckle up ladies"

(Not my favorite line, but while we're at references.... This reminded me of the Starcraft shuttle pilot, but I don't think she said ladies. Google says it could be from Dukes of Hazard.)

Ok how about during Manhattan when you first get into the city early on,and the commander references the original OFP with "armstrong'll be creaming his pants"

If you fail to reach the sniper in Chernogorsk on time, you're told: "Thanks for fuck all Razor...". Cheeky bastard, I was on my way, should have been more careful if you ask me.

"Semper Fitness!"

pure gold

Also, my brother misheard the "Fuck, that hurts" complaint, so "Fuckadeyhaad" is now a multi-purpose exclamation at my house.

easily the quote involving satellite phoning shaftoe when linking up with NAPA. "honey, i didn't expect you calling at this hour" or something like that...

or the quote about the guy in charge in the first mission going on about cartoons and the news.

.

Followed in the final mission by "Honey, I'm home...!"

Sparks50: Where's that in your sig?

I'm using one of those addons to cut down on AI speech. So sometimes all i hear is the 1st word.

"FUCK..2 is down"

"SHIT..2 is down"

"MAN.. far, left"

so all i hear is

FUCK

SHIT

MAN

"Did you see that?". Off course I never saw anything, not even knowing what the deal was.

Favourite because it reminds me of a Star Trek line (the old whaling movie, number evades me):

"Did you see that?"

"No, and neither did you so shut up."

:)
