ray243 11 Posted June 25, 2012 Can someone please port this one? http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=4795 It works in Arma 2 but there's a shadow problem, and the player is floating above the car.
pressytcn 10 Posted September 26, 2012 I just realize after a few changes in the config that the giant ants that I made for Arma1 working perfectly in ARMA2 and OASo soon the wicked warrior insects will invade the land of arma 2 again http://img29.imageshack.us/img29/7416/antpm.jpg http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/8571/greyc.jpg it also works for the angry gray, if it works for a creature, it also works for any other life form ... :581: is there any news about this i remember having some giant green scorpions in arma 2 but i can't remember what mod they came with
Laqueesha 474 Posted October 18, 2012 May somebody please convert the from ARMA 1 over to ARMA 2?
Leaulux 2 Posted February 10, 2013 Are there any people experienced with Addons that can convert this Science Fiction Insect Pack from Arma 1 to Arma 2? The developer said that it worked fine in Arma 2 with "a few changes to the config" but disappeared randomly. http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=4150 Thank you. foffy 58 Posted March 31, 2013 I figure I'd like to ask here, just out of curiosity. If the leg work to convert units from A1 to A2 isn't on the level of climbing over a mountain that instead of asking someone to convert stuff for me, I'd do it for myself, and others. In regards to that, seeing as I'm someone who has no experience with this, what are the tools and guides the community has used to do this? I know there are released models BI has put out, but beyond that for porting and making, I have zero idea. I wanted to test to see if I could bring over a Sahrani US rifleman from A1 to A2 with this idea, to learn how to do it and because there already was a model converted to A2, so I have a baseline comparison. Any guides and tips would be helpful, and I hope this isn't too hard or confusing. :P

Followed then you'd: - remove the A1 head in the first and second lod and replace it with the proxy bysta (like in a2 example soldier) - add the nose in the shadow lod to the head selection (otherwise artifacts will appear) For nicer looks you could also update the A1 rvmats to use A2 shaders. I did all that on these A1 units: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=11291 You can download the mlod on the armaholic post and compare with the original files to see my changes. Thank you, but as I said before, I have no experience doing this, so I don't even know of the programs used. I asked here and now because I'm not sure if over the years the community has used better, more natural tools to use that fix things. What tools do I need to make this stuff? :P
pd3 25 Posted April 6, 2013 Can someone please port this one?http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=4795 It works in Arma 2 but there's a shadow problem, and the player is floating above the car. I would love that, along with this as well: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=3883 I had no idea it was such a complete nonsense festival trying to download some generic looking police units for Arma 2. Vilas' are okay, but I don't like the officers. These civ rpgs are a very negative influence on the addon community IMO. I just want some simple police units for crying out loud. max power 21 Posted April 7, 2013 This is not an addon request thread. You require permission from the original author to port addons.
