franze 196 Posted August 28, 2010 Gents... The M16A2 isn't in widespread usage in the US armed forces anymore. It's primarily a training weapon now (my sister qual'd on one in basic about 4 years ago). The Marines use the M16A4 and the Army uses M4 types. M16A2 is in reserve stocks and they can be converted to A3 or A4 standard with a change of the upper receiver. :) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
