Maybe we can reactivate the BTS for ArmA 2?

Should "someone" set up a bugtracker like boecko's Mantis implementation for ArmA 2?

Found this thread in the ArmA forum, maybe it is a good idea to pick up the idea.

I guess it would be nice for BIS to get a fast feedback supported by a decent tool.

Please have a look to the example screenshots behind the 2nd URL in that manual BEFORE you vote.

i voted no.

But an automated upload of crash dump files would be nice.

As recommended to Placebo yesterday, I would recommend a place over at dev-heaven.net

or rather integrate vBulletin Project Tools in the BIS forums, possibly with some assigned community members as moderators,

if the general Moderator population would be too busy.

Yes would be awesome to have a bugtracker integrated here in the Forums!

If not then Dev-heaven is certainly a very good place too!:D:)

Just send any crash dump to Microsoft using Widows Error Reporting. We are regularly getting the most common ones from there. We have started using WER around ArmA 1.08 and we are very happy about how this service works.

So Windows Error Reporting can actually serve a purpose.. I would not have guessed.

16vs2 actually, good enough to write boecko an e-mail beggin to do the same again? Or any other engine? The stuff sick is using for his ACE purpose is also nice.

And...Suma, WER is one thing, but to report and discuss it issues apart from crashes another. Would you appreciate and use such a tool?

I am used to write detailed error reports and putting error logs and screenshoots else an error report is not really useful.

If so : :pc: to devs, let's party ! :803:

(it was, is and will be my only smiley feast... until the next one (that I guess around, hmm... June 26 ?))

Then I buy you and the complete BIS team beer - no!, I buy the complete Staropramen or Budweiser Factory for them!

No risk it will happen :D

This dev-bugtracker does a great job :D

Does WER work for beta patches and server executable too?
