Shadow NX 1 Posted January 15, 2009 This would be standalone unit or just changeable helmet? currently its more a bonus unit so there is one vdv unit in the config shown on my pic and one guy that has a chestrig along with the rd packs webbing and the blue vdv beret. Exemple: RPG-7 holder with 2 rockets + ammo carrier with 3 more. or PK holder with 2 mags + ammo carrier with 1 more mag. Like in CSLA MOD... Just ideas... AI will not use it this game AI is too stupid to do it, so what will be effect in mission ? gunner will report "out of ammo" and ammo carrier will not work, so you know, there must be compromise between gaming and realism in organisation of addons another example: some armies soldiers cary pistol/smg and launcher what they do in real ? they just use RPG when needed what they do in game ? they stupid engage runiing 400 meters to kill another soldier and they die running/engaging (thats why i call Arma engaging-stupid, cause soldiers do not keep real formation strenght, but engage one by one dying while runing to target), in OFP soldiers were keeping formation and there was not Rambo-god knowledge AI and another example: radio man can call artillery, but... artillery strikes with effect SFX, nevermind that there is OR there is NOT present howitzer in area also artillery script is not making real howitzer fire so there are many issues "we would like to see" remember - we are making mod /addons (models, textures , new look), not "new game" new game engine and AI behaviour is job of developer - for example BIS :P Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
