Swedish troops has however seen battles against the Soviets in the Finnish winterwar. The airforce been fighting in Congo during the Congo conflict 1960-64. Several other hotspots around the world have seen the presents of Swedish troops. Recently Swedish quick reaction force was present during the elections in Liberia and today Kosovo and Afghanistan. Special forces been operated with the french in Tchad and Congo. SFP5: DC content Soldiers ready to fight anywhere with their woodland, desert, snow and tropical uniforms. UN forces and special forces. Several new weapons that will allow the forces to complete their mission. From peacekeeping to peace enforcing. Armored vehicles, from a all terrian jeep with a remote weapon system to the Leo2S tank. Included are also some reskins of BIS vehicles into UN vehicles. Missions, atleast a 18 player MP campaign is done and will be released. Yet not implented but SFP5: DC should be fully compitable with ACE. the_shadow 0 Posted January 6, 2009 SFP5 wont contain as much stuff as SFP4 did as most stuff has been totally reworked and built from scratch. and also, as granQ said it´s been split into 2 packs, first one (Distant Conflict) is based on 2009 and swedish operations abroad.. the other pack will be further presented after the final release of Distant Conflict. wipman 1 Posted January 6, 2009 Hi, sounds promising, why don't you take that CV9030 from the Unfinnished NorFor Mod and make it into a CV9040, a 40B & 40C?, that desert CV9040C seems to need much more work; but i hope to see soon some sweirdos in this game, i miss alot the SFP 4.1.5 from the OFP, it did my day back in the time. With the weapons sounds, the weapons, vehicles, effects etc; was a damn great piece of work that i love as much as i love the absolut vodka. I'll be awaiting for the SFP 5. (for you whow doesn't know, basicly the difference is that B version got an internal old machine gun, the C version got a m240 thats sits on the roof and additionall like 5 tons of armor protection..) wipman 1 Posted January 7, 2009 Hi, i hope that you (or Ktotte or whoever) be able of make the spitt shells feature work; that's the kind of scary realistic detail that some of us love and that also will shell more copyes. I'll ask you to make a minimod that makes the BMP-2 and the T72 to spitt the empty shells too, but as this isn't the Addons Request thread, and as i guess that the SFP 5 needs much more time... then i won't do it. I want to put my hand on a submarine badly.Keep up the good work well, it it is online, if you download our old "betas" that wasn't made with ACE in mind.. we still not sure what to do.. a) our own "addon", not a mod, but 1981 stuff and 200X stuff, singel release b) split into coldwar and modern (distant conflict) release, but still standalone addons c) split addons and make them for a mod, Distant conflict with ace and cold war (whiskey on the rocks) with P85.. we not 100% sure what we will do.. manzilla 1 Posted January 31, 2009 This is quite an interesting Mod you got going here. I like what I see so far. I'm looking forward to further version. I noticed a few bugs, I think.(Like the Gustav type launcher will not load it's 84mm rockets and thus can't fire.) I just used it briefly with ACE so I'm not sure if it's just a conflict with that Mod though. I'll check it out later when I get more time. Thanks for the work thus far.
