And I have to say, as a member of the USEC beta test team, the frame rates remain great on this awesome add-on and she flies great too.

This is probably my favorite add-on that Rocket has conjured up.

That's the true meaning of ultimate simulation! BIS should give you a medal for such amazing work.

Acutally folding any version of the H-60 takes a little more work so its not exactly simulating. While its a cool feature, really folding a hawk is quite a bit of work.

Also, you can ask a moderator, but I dont think you're supposed to bump threads and beg for new intel. I'm sure Rocket will post more information when it's ready.

No doubt. Is it necessary to bump for news? When he's ready to release it or post news he will. Just have patience and when it's ready it will be released.

And read the thread, I believe he wants to be called Rocket and has asked not to be referred to as icemotoboy.

With the bottom falling out of the computer game industry thanks to the economy drying up... I've been incredibly busy at work. However, we've been using the HH60 on the LHA at USEC for some time now.

Current problem: The Geometry model is screwed up. I've tried making my own from scratch and using the MLOD one provided by BIS... but I always end up with a helicopter that operates like the original Chinook. Anyone have any tips for the MLOD of a helicopter?

Also, I've got a cargo pickup script working. MP capable. Just waiting for the geo issue to be solved then I'm all good.

I would PM RKSL-Rock. Maybe he can give you some help. The addons he has helped EricM with turned out great.

I fixed it. Don't like to PM RKSL or Gnat as pretty much every answer you could ever want is in the forums. I searched (admitedly it took some time), and I found that the recommended answer was simply to "fiddle until it was right".

I fiddled with the Center of gravity, until I got it handling right. It now handles right.

Rocket I have tried the seahawk and I have to say it looks terrific.

I'd like to make some suggestions:

- The version I downloaded behaves too shaky, much more than BIS blackhawks. I have seen that you already have modified it so it behaves correctly.

- It is too strong. I have seen it receiving a couple of  BIS standard missiles and continue flying.

- I don't know if you have an RLOD in the seahawk model but I ocasionally have seen the "0 altitude" bug while flying. The same bug that GNATs V-22 has.

- For the next version I would suggest three armed versions:

   - Hellfire armed version using the M-299 launcher on the  side wing.

http://www.operations.mod.uk/veritas/img/veritas/45cdogp/seahawk.jpg

   - AGM-119 Penguin armed version

http://www.military.cz/usa/air/in_service/helicopters/sh60/sh60.jpg

   - Torpedo armed version. Maybe using an scripted torpedo or something.

Also, you have modelled the FLIR turret that was added to the rescue hawk, ocean hawk and seahawk. That FLIR turret also comes with a laser designator. Do you plan to add optics to the copilot slot so the copilot can use targeting optics?

If it is so, you could use modified Hellfire missiles that can also be aimed to Laser Designators and so the pilot can launch the hellfires and the copilot designs the targets using the laser designator turret.

This trick has been done by RKSL in their linxes choppers.

Anyway, a very good chopper

Keep up the good work

Ditto what Mankyle suggested.

I noticed you stated HH-60 H Rescue Hawk, any plans for an Sh-60B or even an F? Sonobuoys , Mk 46, Mk 50, or Mk 54 Torpedoes would be nice.

Hi,

First of all, congratulation Rocket for this awesome bird, it looks wonderful :ok:

I know it will be released when it'll be ready, Im not hurry, but few months ago you stated the bird was in testing inside the USEC team, then others members of USEC said it was flying like a charm. So I was wondering if finally you guys decided to keep this baby for the USEC (no problem with me) or if it was just a lack of time.

Im not begging for intel or for a release, I'd just like to know if we can expect to see this baby in ArmA or not.

Again and again, you did a beautiful work there, cheers !

No doubt. This is something I've been drooling over for quite some time. I haven't seen rocket around much lately so I hope everything is going well on his end.

The HH-60 has already been released for USEC members, plus the Syed LHA, USEC versions of the AH-1 and AV-8B and two Ticonderoga class Aegis cruisers.

Unfortunately, the HH-60 suffers some bugs including a geometry bug that makes the chopper unable to land when manned by AI units (it unloads the cargo while flying very high and the troops die).

Anyway it's a very good piece of chopper

The current Beta version has been released only for USEC members. The last uploaded version still has the GEO bug (as far as I know).

I would also like to have the ticos with working VLS but only the guns (Mk 45s and the Phalanxes) work.

I supose Rocket will release When Its Finished.
