This release comes with a couple of manuals for players as well as mission makers to be able to use all features XAM offers.

The list of changes is very long but here is a short summary:

I am not sure... more improvements i hope will be added is the ability to drag bodies and the Ai Suppresion stuff

question on the XAM mod dose it improve AI intellegence at all ?

I can't comment as I have not noticed that but AI is adjusted by this mod (accuracy). For more information follow the link to XAMS site in the first post for more detailed information.

On a personal note, I have been using this mod for a while and had updated for a few hours to this version and found it to be better in as much as more refined than 1.4.

I found some bugs:

-GlockSD haven't textures on silencer.

-In desert ghille sniper BUG: cannot found: Xam_famas

-Bug: Cannot found Xam smokewall launcher

- and few bugs in G.A.V.R

*beret in officer

*helmet in solider

Congrats on the release!

Just a quick question, do we still get airstrikes/artillery ? I thought this was a great idea in previous xam releases, just wondered if we still have them for this release?

Hey Mark,

if your talking about the radio to call arty strikes in the HMMWV it has been deleted for optimization and it messed up with multiplayer gameplay. I too hope it coud return..

Deleted due to bugs... so no more steerable parachute, download mapfacts steerable parachute it is basically the same.

T-90A has the bugged texture version...should be one version up (the turret and hull have diffferent hull numbers)Using Version 9's p3d should be ok.

I only got to play with it a bit before I went to bed, but thus far I love it. I haven't been lagging like I did when I was using ECS and a dozen other addons. I just wish I could use the 1st infantry and SF replacements alongside XAM, but so far not working.

I enjoyed being able to be in a tank and have it pop smoke as well. There's just too much I liked to sit here typing. The new tracers were especially nice. But I would make two possible suggestions concerning them:

1) Instead of glowing white, shouldn't they glow the color they are?

2) Is it possible to adjust them a bit more? At night they look really nice, but during the day they look a little "weird"

If no, no worries. I am really enjoying them either way a lot. It was really fun shooting off the GAU and watching the nice light show, hehe. Like I said, if you could also look into compatibility with using replacements in the future?

I look forward to really sitting down and checking everything out much better. Keep up the excellent work! I'll definitely be using this from now on. smile_o.gifnotworthy.gif

I took it upon myself to fix the texture problem for the T-90A,I took off the numbers so It doesn't look so silly with all the T's having the same number running around,I also desaturated it to match the T-90S.Just Depbo the XAM_Veh.pbo ,replace the T-90 folder and repack.Hopefully Snake2000 will catch this fix and maybe update for next version.

Is there any way of getting back "old" FOV? I mean from 1.14 version. The view is too zoomed out for me and some weapons looks thick and long.

But anyway, good work on this version.  biggrin_o.gif

Yeah this is nice but it seems XAM replaces the units with it's own. Although I love the units, I'm not too keen on not being able to use some replacement files. Am I just seeing things or have some more people have this problem.

Another thing, is this modular. Can I remove some of the FX/features to use others? If so, what can be removed.

I'm also curious about some of the .pbo's that come with v1.5. Many of the user made things you've incorporated I already use. Will it f#$k up my missions or gameplay if I keep the original files or should I "deactivate" them?

I tried this with SLX and it seems to work a little strange. Maybe I'm just imagining things here but for some reason I get the feeling that something is missing from SLX. I can't put my finger on it, just a hunch. Has anyone else tried v1.5 with SLX yet?

Overall this is great. The performance is beautiful and the new features are excellent. Thanks again Snake!

Very nice work! smile_o.gif I love the new GUI, F16 sound, units replacements. Although the fov is really annoying. Why not staying with the real values, like we had in OFP, first versions of ArmA or now in (fortunately) TrueMods addon?

To get normal FOV back to 1.14 values delete the UNA_Fov1.08 pbo's, these values are 1.08 ArmA version which i really like!

When I'm playing I hear French voices. In the configfile the French voices are disabled so is there a pbo which is responsible for these voices and can be disabled / left out?

hey no prop...but do ya think its a bit too bland now?I kinda like the traditional tell tale yellow of the t-90...but it stuck out like a sore thumb.

Nah i think it looks great badger! Could you make a green camo version??? Not sure if it's realistic but the other tanks in XAM use a soviet kinda camo and would fit right in..
