Beside the "Fog Bug" I'm really interested if the "thrust-bug" with aircrafts is really fixed.

Thrust and rudder. Those 2 problems fixed would be a great improvement to the flight model.

Rudder is especially bad for planes.

Try doing a strafing run with a Harrier or A10. At a decent speed you have virtually no rudder control which can screw up the whole run. In a chopper it doesn't seem as bad, but probably just due to lower speeds sometimes. It still needs to be fixed for choppers too of course.

Weird throttle control is just irritating. It needs to be smooth. Right now you can't adjust speed properly.

Thats the problem...the ArmA FM forces lower speeds...but speed is the only defense for aircraft in ArmA. The next Problem is that you can't gain altitude by sacrificing speed in ArmAs Helo FM.

Good morning BIS Team, can you please hurry up with the patch.

We are all sick of waiting and want to play "our" game without stupid things like the gf8800 fog and others.

At the moment, I'm NOT interested in ArmA II, because the fear is great that it will be the same mess like it is with ArmA now. Too many bugs, extremly bad performance even on high end computers, bad physics, ... etc.

Please FIX ArmA NOW and release the patch.

One year after the release and still so many bugs, that is not acceptable, even for a "smaller" game company like BIS.

Thanks for listening(or not?).

MfG Lee ..

Could not agree more.

I am SICK of all of the weasels creating "disappointment" threads and disguising them as something else. You can't tell me not to read this thread because the thread's title led me to believe that it was just an info thread.

If you hate the game, post in the appropriate thread and leave the rest of us alone. Not wanting to hear constant whining does not make one a "fanboy" but constantly whining makes one a "hater" and a total nag.

You made your point. We get it, but we/I are/am tired of hearing it. Take your stuff and go. Please.

I totally agree. You guys need to chill, and if you dislike Arma so much, then don't play it. The patch will come in time, just be patient.

The main problem here is different people will want different things fixed and not care about other stuff that someone else would want fixed. They can't please everyone, that's life. They've come up with a list of more or less show stopper bugs and they're working on those. MP in public servers by all accounts is almost impossible to play properly without people hacking away and cheating. BIS have just made a list of the more difficult things to fix, and I'm sure the community could "fix" the non hard coded stuff. And before people say "well it shouldn't need a mod/addon" well shush. The fact of the matter is you CAN mod this game and create what you want, it's just selfish and childish to moan to BIS to make everything you want. If you really want something do it yourself. Leave BIS to make the engine and the community to make the content the community WANTS.

Nobody hates BIS, nobody hates ArmA, nobody wants to disguise anything.

Please read the WHOLE thread befor trolling.

Thanks and good bye!

If this thread gets locked because of the forum trolls I will send a pm to a moderator to get it open again and the trolls send to prison!

I'm sure there will also be more bugs fixed and maybe some more system improvments to the engine.  The small list for the 1.09 won't be all that is included. There will be more.  I have to say though this might be the last patch for Arma.

Exuactly!! I have always said that.. The issue they should go first in my opinion is peformance ( which i and alot of other people need) Bugs/fixes and new toys to play with so bis can keep its costumers.

Bis was nice enough to releas arma which is like a very early beta. Would you pefer to have a beta game or not and on top of that they patch it and you arenot satitsfied then dont buy the beta game in the first place
