dm 9 Posted May 22, 2007 Damn you with yer dry-deserty like climate! At least it means the aircraft are slightly better preserved out there, tho they probably have a few more people looking after them more regularly too. Nice pics tho brah, me like
dm 9 Posted May 23, 2007 Sorry for the "double post" but here comes another spam-tastic series from the world of DeadMeat Tis the time of year for teeny-tiny baby animals... Ducklings of varying ages (from days to months) Bigger Bigger Bigger A somewhat abstract one (was trying to be arty-farty, didnt quite work ) Bigger Its a 5 second exposure, from a tripod on the boat. My aim was to get the boat all nice, and the landscape blurred by the movement (a slower version of Kilagee's night time car shots) but it was far too bright, and I didnt have suitable filters to compensate. Still, tis an awesome abstract A random Orange dude at a wharf on the Grand Union Bigger To be cont...
dm 9 Posted May 23, 2007 ...cont Overflight by an RAF Griffin HT.1 Bigger Bigger He came zooming in at 50 feet over the hedgerows, and popped up to clear the powerlines, then back down to ~50 feet again. Took me by surprise to start with, hence the out-of-focus first shot. Between him appearing, passing overhead and gone again must have been all of 10-20 seconds. Also didnt help that I had the 18-55 on the cam at the time. Adult swans eating "naturally" Bigger Bigger And somewhat less "naturally" Bigger Bigger To be cont... Ranger Bob 0 Posted May 24, 2007 Tovarish, that first picture is amazing! Is that with a lensbaby?
GoOB 0 Posted May 24, 2007 It looks like the lens blur filter from Photoshop, there are two points in (in two completly different depths) which there is sharpness and that isn't possible with any type of lens in existance I like the shot, but I think that It'd be better if the mans face was completly blurred out aswell. As it is now it doesn't really give me anything "clear" to rest my eyes on.
